A whole 1? Man, that's way more than all the 4 stars that are All Americans. The point is still completely, 100% valid.
This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
Difference is Hoke knows how to use the talent he gets. Kelly (ND) and Fischer (FSU) aren't the greatest of coaches.
before your 5th straight loss.

Again, MSU won when Michigan was DOWN due to the RR era. MSU cannot recruit against us now, our coaches are as good as yours. Lets see ...
Michigan multi times better at recruiting now than MSU
Michigan and MSU at-par or Michigan better at coaching than MSU
Who do you think is winning once these recruiting classes come onboard and start playing?

Have you ever heard our coach or anyone directly affiliated with the program mention Denard and Heisman in the same sentence?
Short answer..... No.
ooops ... they lost one already.
Could be ... but the future is being built with last years, this years, and soon to start 2014 classes. Again ... MSU hangs its hat on the past, when the future is being built on quicksand. Let me know when you reel in some top recruits.
Hoke is the better coach. He had a better season in his first year than Dantonio has during his whole time at MSU. And Hoke did it with RR's players.
When have they had the top ranked recruitin classes. Besides they also have terrible coaching.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
You have to realize that what we doesn't matter to them. Heck, there was an old delusional MSU fan explaining how MSU RS's all their players and then coaches them up into "4 star or better" players. In their mind, every RS on their team is a automatic 4* or 5* player.
I don't play for Michigan, so not sure who the "your" is referencing.
And "you" can win 30 in a row. "You'll" still be playing catch up.

Coming from the team who has never won a December Heisman.
FSU had the number one recruiting class either last year or the year prior. You could throw Clemson and UNC in there as well. We're obviously not going to get into how Butch Davis got any of those recruits, but you know what I mean. ND has consistently pulled good classes and squandered their talent. Additionally, Florida has been piss poor with a ton of talent recently. Texas comes to mind, Georgia was good last year but has been pretty mediocre with a ton of talent. There are a ton of teams who can't win with guys an analyst likes.
So Dantonio offered a bunch of 5 star players that Michigan got and now they are overrated. Again, your going to suck when you have the likes of Dabo Swinney, purple face, and Jimbo Fisher as your coach.

No one who actually follows our program thinks we RS players to "turn them into 4 stars or better". We RS a number of players at certain positions because we have depth at said positions and they need work. True, we've missed on guys analyst like. We've stocked a roster with mid to high level 3 star guys who are without question great athletes, but were lacking in another area so yes, we do rely on coaching to shore up those areas. No one is arguing we're going to out recruit you tomorrow. I just know when I look around the field I see guys on my squad as big and fast as any others out there.
Just recently, and what falls under recently? I would say recently Texas has won a Natty, Florida 2 natties, Alabama 2 natties... Anyway, all of those teams could recruit well and coach well, coach D can do one of those, but he can't do it well enough to get his team to a BCS Bowl.
MSU has the most B10 wins over the last 4 years. UM was just one of the many teams we beat during that time.
I didn't say they were overrated and that wasn't my point at all. My point was, there are plenty of teams who have landed analyst darlings who haven't turned out or they were just shitty coaches. I'm saying it happens all the time. I'm not suggesting that your recruits are overrated candidates for a flame out at all. Relax.
Its awfully convenient to take a four year snapshot of the rivalry. I prefer to look back ten years.
Spartan fans I actually agree that while MD is there the rivalry will not go back to Michigan owning your ass every year. We are going to win more often then not but the series should stay competitive. MD is a jackass but he is a good coach.
Directly coinciding with the worst 3 year stretch in 100+ years of Michigan football, and another OSU coach getting fired
Smoke and mirrors, man. Smoke and mirrors.
Uh, Notre Dame. It has been going on since the 1800s and was just recently on ESPN Gameday (and could be again this year as it is slated for 8pm.
Jesus, do you ever read what you type? Alabama? Where the hell did that come from. The Tebowless gators have been pretty limp the last few years. Texas had one great season in 2005 and has had a hard time closing since. Now Coach D can't coach? Get a grip man.
UM had decades to take advantage of bad MSU coaches and teams that weren't even bowl eligible.
Smoke and mirrors man. Smoke and mirrors.
None of those UM wins count. MSU was down.
