Did anything change from his initial top 5? I like that OSU and ND still aren't on there.
Virginia Tech likely with the slight lead over Michigan at this point. That's fine for the Wolverines considering he hasn't visited. Michigan has so many opportunities to gain momentum over the course of this recruiting process. The Michigan coaching staff is doing a fantastic job here.

I believe the only change was North Carolina is out, and Florida is in.
Did Mattison make it in to see him over the weekend?
It would be great to land the top player in Virginia two years in a row.
would be a great get. I don't know why he'd have Bama in that group as it has been stated that early PT is a big attraction to him. Would be nice to stop seeing these "mid south" kids go to the SEC, so hope he plays in the BIG..

Plus they run a 3-4. He fits way better in a 4-3 so he can rush off the edge all day
But if you were going to make an exception to that rule, Alabama admittedly has much to offer in terms of their football program. I mean shoot, if early playing time is the overriding consideration, then screw Michigan, why not go to Toledo. Hand is guaranteed to start all four years at Toledo.
But Toledo didn't make his top 5....haha....The players today seem to want early playing time much moreso than those 15-20 years ago. They all come in with a 3 year plan and then off to the NFL....so if you have two high profile teams battling and Hand can see the field his freshman year, I'd bet they have a slight edge over the other. But, who knows, it'd be tough turning down Satan, er, Saban and his success...
I don't usually go off making large predictions.... but if Michigan can pull in Hand & McDowell, they will win a National Championship in the next 3-4 years.
