All I can say is....wow
Tom Crean Jeff Meyer argue IU/Michigan post-game from WRTV-6 Indianapolis.
You'd like to think that was one of those situations where you immediately regret the words that came out, then the smirk happens and you realize that Crean knew and meant exactly what he said.

Indiana coach Tom Crean in a text said he apologized to Michigan assistant Jeff Meyer for his on-court confrontation.
Confusing tweet, but he apologized by phone. Still flat out weak.

I posted that in the Michigan/Indiana game thread.
Here's some tweets from people in response:
Ben Jones @Ben_Jones88
Even Lane Kiffin thinks Tom Crean could tone down the "haters gonna hate" routine.
Matt Berkowitz @guruberk21
@RealSkipBayless you should have Tom Crean on so the country can vote who is the bigger DB

Been a lot of things said by IU coaches to kids that Michigan is recruiting in the 14 and 15 classes in the state of Indiana that go beyond your normal negative recruiting ..whole staff has had enough of it ..Michigan is in a great position for any number of kids in those classes .
Man, Crean is a douchenozzle.
At least ESPN is starting to pick up this video and story. Basically called out Crean earlier on Sportscenter. I would expect the Big Ten Network to cover this, but they may be too busy airing Indiana's Senior Night speeches again.
There were rumors that two confrontations happened so Meyer may have said something before the game, but it's hard to know for sure what happened if the coaches aren't commenting.

Beilein: "Michigan's always going to win with class, and it's going to lose with class. ... I'm proud of the way Jeff showed great poise."
I live in Indiana. Most everyone I know have made the "difficult" choice to root for the two blue bloods in two different sports: Notre Dame football and IU basketball. Naturally, I am thoroughly exposed both those teams. Each day, I become more proud of our coaches. They don't hold the "win at all costs" mentality, but rather choose to lead their teams with integrity and character. They are building students and men.
FYI from this mornings news
**Crazy Crean … By now you’ve heard about Indiana basketball coach Tom Crean going off on Michigan assistant coach (and former Indiana assistant) Jeff Meyer on Sunday. Despite winning the game, Crean felt the need to yell at Meyer that he “wrecked (IU’s) program.” Crean also shouted at Meyer: “You know what you did.”
This was all about recruiting violations that Meyer was a part of at Indiana under former head coach Kelvin Sampson.
Prior to any of this happening yesterday, we heard from one of our best sources who passed on another story of Crean behaving in a semi-psychotic fashion. (Did we say “semi?”)
“Got some basketball info for you,” the source began. “We all know about (Thad) Matta and Crean not liking each other but apparently it’s spilling over into other areas. After we ruined Indiana’s senior night, as the end-of-game handshakes were happening, Crean actually stopped Aaron Craft and said: ‘Don’t disrespect me or my program; I have votes in this conference and I can make you regret it!’
“Crean was so emphatic about this he even searched Craft out after the teams finished with all the handshakes. He circled back to Craft to repeat himself once again.
“I’m told Craft has no idea why Crean feels he has disrespected him or his program, other than he tried to lip-read a conversation Crean had with (Jordan) Hulls during the game.
“Should make for an interesting third meeting if we are so lucky.”
If Crean were a football player, we’d say something like “He’s clearly taken too many shots to the head.” However, as it stands, we’re not sure what you can blame his repeated psychotic behavior on.
And we’re going to totally resist making fun of his ladies frames or making any sort of “Gloria Vanderbilt” joke.
This is exactly what last night's dust up was all about. Crean is running into Meyer and Michigan constantly on the recruiting trail in the State of Indiana and it's pissing him off. He needs to grow up and stop being a total asshat of a human being. WOTS is even some longtime IU legends like Bobby Knight and Steve Alford can't stand the guy. Fans and boosters will give him a pass on much of his bad behavior while he's winning, but as soon as he hits a rough patch (and he will) they will be far less forgiving. And that's not the time you want to look around and realize you have no friends.

Even Bobby Knight thinks he went way too far.
Bobby didn't like him way before this.
Crean blew his load way too early. He's got the B1GT and the NCAAT still to go.
I like how Crean's boorish behavior has shifted the entire narrative from "Indiana has won the Big Ten led by Crean" to "What a prick that Tom Crean guy is".
