A stunning example of Sparty genius: "I don't have a problem with a walk on choosing Michigan. Any walk on athlete is going to have a great experience and be rewarded with a great education.
What I don't understand is the national championship is what Michigan is about talk. In the last 15 years Butler, who Dakich turned down, has competed for twice the championships. "
Yes, but here's the key difference: Butler didn't compete for a national championship 3 weeks ago, and Butler isn't returning all but two players from that national championship-caliber team. Silly Sparty.
Lmfao Michigan's facilities make Butler's look like they're from the stone ages. Mostly because Butler's facilities are from the stone ages.
And FWIW I think Hinkle Arena is awesome. Would love to catch a game there someday.
Kevon Looney gets buckets.
6'8" PF Kevon Looney is a top 5 national recruit for the class of 2014. The Milwaukee Running Rebels won. Scouts are comparing him to Kevin Durant.

I would love an update Austin Hatch, Edmond Sumner and update on how much Mark Donnal weighs and what weight U-M wants him to play at next year ? Tks for any help you fellas can provide
Saw Steve L. tweet this link about a Detroit Pershing player (Justin Tillman) getting a 2014 Hoops offer. Seems like he plays the spot Vince Edwards would be in since they project Ricky Doyle as a 5.
Another Detroit Pershing forward, 6-5 Martez Walker, made a verbal commitment to Texas on Tuesday and will sign his letter-of-intent later this week.
That and the fact that a Michigan degree is a bit higher in the pecking order than a Butler degree. But leave it to Sparty to miss the obvious.
That's really not that farfetched Appling is garbage
Where did you see that at?
RCMB, The Dakich thread

Bacari with an epic amount of tweets
The latest from Bacari Alexander (@bacari34). Mens Assistant Coach at University of Michigan who is relentlessly striving to be a Leader and Best in every way. Ann Arbor, Michigan
that is a lot of tweets. I just held the page down button for a while and they were still from within the last hour. At least we know he's here to stay He might be my favorite assistant coach at Michigan, but Mattison is definitely up there too.
I'm not convinced.
Duke's entire coaching staff is investing a lot of time on Justise Winslow. (And I don't blame them. Just from watching his tape, it was clear to me that he can be a future NBA All-Star. He's like a taller/bouncier James Harden.)
But Duke is currently trying to catch-up to Arizona. And that will be tough given that Arizona is expected to be a Final Four contender in 2014.
Duke's second option at the SF position is Stanley Johnson of Mater Dei.
Love it You can be positive without tearing other teams down. At MSU, tearing down Michigan is a requirement to be a coach.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
and if we go to another final 4 while Duke fails to make it we could get even more momentum.
Luke Winn's Post-Draft Deadline Pre-Season Rankings for 2014
9. North Carolina
10. Oklahoma State
15. New Mexico Lobos
With 3 teams in the top 10, the B1G could be the toughest team in the conference again. Wisconsin will be a top-15 team. I expect Iowa and Indiana to be top-25 teams at some point next season. Even Illinois might sneak into the top 25.
How soon until he makes a 4th account?

Looney is a perfect 4 for Duke with Jahil playing the 5
Mitch McGary would've been the perfect replacement for graduating senior Mason Plumlee. Thankfully, he chose Michigan over Duke and Florida.
I know that Kevon Looney would be a great fit at Duke but I'm not convinced that he can see himself wearing Duke Blue. But Coach K may not need Looney if Jabari Parker stays for his sophomore season. (Although this is unlikely, it's not as unlikely as many think.)
Besides, Duke will have redshirt junior Alex Murphy and junior Amile Jefferson to play the 4 in 2015. Jefferson is quite skilled but he's a tweener. He needs to add muscle over this off-season.
Lastly, Coach K and Coach Beilein run similar offensive systems. Looney would be a really good 4 in our offense as well.

RT @Balas_Wolverine: Thought at one point Kevon Looney (five star hoops '14) and Michigan wouldn't get serious. Now I think it could
