Yes I'm calling you out bud. Of 20 crystal ball predictions only 2 have Hand going to Michigan. One of those is our very own favorite Tremendous Steve Lorenz. And the other is national recruiting god extraordinare Steve Wiltfong. We also have a leading Rivals analyst and a favorite ESPN analyst both saying Hand favors Michigan. So why Clint, our Michigan home boy, are you saying Hand will commit to VT? Either state your case or change your vote.

CLINT, TODD WORLEY HACKED YOUR ACCOUNT.
So...90% of predictions have Hand to VT, and you're "calling him out" for being one of them? Maybe because he thinks VT leads and is making that his prediction until he has sufficient reason to believe otherwise? Would you rather have him just be a Kurelic-style homer and pick everyone to go blue? This thread is weird.
He shouldn't make homer picks. I want all the analyst to be realistic and professional with their pics. Don't bucknut the crystal ball.
Lol. I would rather just have analysts give us their honest opinions/feedback and not just cater to what we would like to hear. Jmo....

Hand is VT bound
Personally, I don't believe that. Not saying he's a UM lock, but VT doesn't even offer the major he wants, and he's very academically oriented. I have a hard time seeing him at his hometown favorite in the end.
He doesn't owe us an explanation. It's his prediction. If he wants to give his the reason behind his prediction, that's cool, but all you need to know is that he believes Hand will sign with VT. Alex Gleitman, the new guy at Bucknuts, has made several player predictions on big name guys (McDowell+Peppers) and has them going to Michigan. If every "home team" analyst predicted their "home team" school, what would be the point of the predictions? I would think we could appreciate staff members being honest and realistic with their predictions.
What an odd post, hopefully you're just kidding. If not, he probably has Hand going to VT because he thinks that's where he'll end up.
He's changed his major once, he could again.
I live 2.5 hours from VT and what I see is Hand to VT, close to home, family kind of deal.
Cant blame the kid
How could you do this to me Clint...I loved you
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
Lets not down vote the heck out of this. No need to act like Sparty or bucknuts
Just for the record, the analysts get rewards based on how many predictions they have correct. Clint must feel (as the vast majority of people do) that Hand is headed for VT. This is not a "where do you want him to go" this is a "where will he go" and I'm glad Clint puts what he thinks instead of trying to make us happy.
Way to stick to your guns Clint....you wear the pants in here
I'd still like to hear his thoughts on why Hand is more likely to go to VT than Michigan.
He is going to choose a school that (a) does not have his major, (b) academically is below Michigan, and (c) has a football tradition nowhere near Michigan? Hmmm ....
The only way he chooses VT is because proximity is his #1 factor, which I weigh less than 50%.

A) He changed his major to Sports Management when he heard about it at Michigan. Doesn't mean he can't change his mind again.
B) VT is still a very strong academic school
C) I agree with this one. They may not be a blue blood, but under foster their defense has been solid.
(1) "Could" change his mind. Of course ... but right now ... he "is" Sports Management.
(2) Michigan still > than VT academically.
(3) Michigan leaps and bounds ahead of VT on football.
Uncle Newt, I figured you would have called me out about this a long time ago haha. Its going to be a close race between Michigan and VT in the end but I feel like the home team usually wins the majority of those close races. Florida is also a school to watch out for since he hasn't visited yet. This is recruiting so I could always be wrong, and hey, we can change our prediction all the way up until before he commits, so if I feel like Michigan is going to be the school down the road- I'll change it. Just trying to give accurate predictions here.
You don't have to justify anything to him Clint
He isn't Sports Management until he is in college and declares it. Right now all he "is" is a kid in high school and a damn good football player. I'm hoping he picks Michigan too.. I'd just rather not blow sunshine until we are comfortably in the drivers seat.
Please. His decision criteria includes Sports Management. Nobody is blowing sunshine. if you compare what he wants in:
1. a major
2. academic standing
3. football strength and legacy
what do you get? I get Michigan, as would Hand IMO. If you throw in proximity to home, then you change this equation, which could easily tip this to VT.
And wasn't there a report that his father loved Hoke & Michigan, thus possibly negating family/proximity if they were behind him leaving the nest? I believe it was regarding Hand....
