Ohio State is seen as a possible national championship contender. But the Buckeyes will have several schools gunning for them in the Leaders Division. Click here for more.
And the Legends Division here:

You just ask for it when you come here and talk about OSU and not winning a national championship.
To be fair, he wrote a really favorable write-up for Michigan in his linked article. I think most of us would agree with everything he said.
But yea, the comment ITT was a bad look
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
ITT: Steve Helwagen predicts OSU will win the Super Bowl.
Saw the writer, not reading.....
I hate Helwagen as much as the next guy here but he actually wrote something reasonable about Michigan.
Here's what he wrote (so you don't have to click the link):
* Helwagen Says: The schedule sets up extremely well for Michigan, which played pretty well down the stretch after Gardner took over at quarterback. The Wolverines host Notre Dame, Nebraska and Ohio State. They must visit division foes Michigan State, Northwestern and Iowa, however.
Some are looking at Michigan as a possible top-10 team and the favorite to win the Legends Division. I would agree. That regular season finale against Ohio State could be the first of two meetings in eight days between those bitter rivals.
Michigan’s Big Ten championship drought dates to 2004 and Hoke is bound and determined to change that … ASAP. I like the Wolverines’ chances to at least play for the title.
The improvement Michigan has made defensively over the last three years – coinciding with Greg Mattison’s return to Ann Arbor as the defensive coordinator – has been awesome. UM needs that defense to set the tone in 2013 and, in turn, give Gardner some breathing room to grow into the starting role at quarterback.
Most Michigan fans agree with that. The B1G Championship is the expectation and Michigan should be good enough to win it this year.
