Off topic a bit, but watching Peppers tape again made me think of some of the best highlight tapes ever. One for me sticks out over them all(noel devine and reggie bush are definitely up there btw), but this....
Just....silly. He doesnt get tackled once in that video and scores a TD everytime LOL.
Oh, and yes I am still bitter RR and UM didnt go after him harder.

Honestly, Peppers' is the best I've ever seen. He's just so absurdly versatile - he excels on both sides of the ball, at multiple positions and on special teams, he's ridiculously athletic in general, and just...damn.
I originally linked Peppers tape on accident lol. I edited it though. Tavon Austin.
I don't really watch very many highlights tapes, but I loved Jeremy Gallon's. For a blast from the past, there was a WR Jayson Swain who ended up picking Tennessee over Michigan. I liked his alot too and he would have enrolled with Henne and Hart. Not sure what happened to him after NSD as I obviously stopped following him.
There was one particular Gallon highlight tape(thats hard to find) that was out of this world good lol. Agreed.
I loved Keith Marshall's highlight tape.
Mixon this year is pretty damn good
That video is sick...omg was he fast..man against boys..just crazy good..damn
Go blue.....beat ohio.....
Lol the run at 2:30-2:35 is gold. Notice what he does with his hand to the defender."hiiii byeeeee slap hands!)
Leonard Fournette. This tape is not remotely surd. 6 minutes long...he gets tackled twice
Leonard Fournette (#5) shows his skills as an all-star running back during his junior year at St. Augustine High School. For more information, please contact Coach Cyril Crutchfield (email@example.com). He can also be reached at (504) 944-2424.
I know this one is gonna sting a little bit, but I always thought Dee Hart had a ridiculous highlight tape. Jeremy Gallon had some nice highlights as well.
Jeremy Gallon's 2007 Junior Season of Apopka High School. Committed to the University of Michigan. 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Nominee. 4 Star Recruit. Rivals Top250. #15 'Athlete' in the country. Finished 2nd in voting for Florida's Class 6A player of the year as a junior. Only Junior on Class 6A All-State first team. Orlando Sentinel Central Florida Offensive Player of the Year. Led Team to 6A State Semi-Finals as Junior.
2007 Junior Year Stats:
219 Rushing att. for 1,613 Yards and 23 TD
56-88 Passing for 1,071 Yards and 8 TD
Thats the tape i was talking about WRT to Gallon(as Im sure the previous poster who mentioned him 1st was). Not too hard to find I guess lol! There are some filthy runs/moves in that Gallon tape.
IMO, they just don't compare to Clowney's senior year tape. It's comical. First you see him break 90 yard runs as a fullback, and you realize that dude outrunning everyone on the field is a 6'6" defensive end. Then you put yourself in the shoes of the HS level left tackles who actually have to try to block this manimal. It's just incredible.
My favorite from the class of 2014 is probably Adoree Jackson though. I like to watch the tapes where you assume he must play terrible competition, only to realize it isn't and that kid is making high level competition look silly. He scores on plays where he has no business even getting a first down.
That's the Gallon video I was thinking of. Man I'm excited to see him this year. His growth from year 1-year 2 and then year 2-year 3 has been outstanding. I remember is RS Freshman year he couldn't even field a punt consistently, and now he's got the best hands on the team.
Stefon Diggs was the best highlight tape I've ever watched. Not even a close second and I watch a lot of tape. Some of my favorite Michigan players highlight tapes are Jeremy Gallon, Josh Furman and Jake Ryan. Tate Forcier's was a fun watch too.
Greg Olsen's verse is great.
Noel Devine for me
Norfleet's tape was pretty cool
Clowney's HS tapes are ridiculous. I would assume he didn't play in a good league, maybe he did, it's that ridiculous. Honestly looks like an NFL player playing against 8th graders.

Not even close. That is all it was a highlight tape, having watched him live several times while he attended Cy-Fair not impressed. The kid was a total primadonna would often skip blocking assignments when he didn't get the ball. I was completely shocked he was offered by Michigan, because he hurdled a couple of kids. smh
I just watched Clowney's for the first time. I have to change my pick to him. Looks like a created player from a video game
What do you mean "That is all it was a highlight tape"? The title of the thread is best highlight video. Not whether or not they were a good blocker or teammate.
Bro, thats why its a highlight tape, your suppose to only show the touchdowns
-Norfleets was awesome
-Honorable mention and under the radar is Maurice Hurst...just love his defensive plays coupled with his RB skills
-Favorite is probably McGuffie, that was the first high school highlight I recall watching numerous times
-I also liked Alvin Baileys last year...he had a couple moves on there that were Datsyuk like
