Well.. if this is any indication he should also win the Wooden Award .
Burke has been such a great player for the past two seasons ..Going to be sad to see him leave UM
Gary Harris named Freshman of the Year. Well deserved as well, the guy's a great player.
Harris deserves it...he improved steadily as the season went along.
But hooray Trey Burke!
Good for Trey. Definitely going to miss him when he's gone next year.
Hopefully, Zak Irvin will win the FotY award next season.

Or Derrick Walton
Kudos to Burke, likely the first player I'd take in a nationwide college bball 'draft' so to speak. I wasn't sold on him over Oladipo even as recently as a week ago, but have bought in.
Unfortunately, I don't know that it will translate directly to the Wooden award, but best of luck.
Thanks Jandy! I know you only bought in because I out-debated you on the UM/MSU thread, but a buy in is a buy in.
Haha, you beat me fair and square.
In all seriousness, Burke has the talent of Kalin Lucas as a Junior (pre achilles injury), and is a much better leader. Complete package.

We're going to be really good next year. Thinking about Walton, Irvin and Donnal in our rotation. It almost makes me want this year to end so we can start the speculorgasms.
I think Walton has a better chance to win it than Irvin simply because of his role and the talent surrounding him as a PG, but Irvin will be a better player for this team IMO. Irvin reminds me of a hybrid Nik Stauskas/GRIII. Shooting ability (not 3pt) in the Stauskas territory, athletic ability of GRIII, height of the two as well. I regard him higher than GRIII coming in for the sheer fact that he can create his own shot, which we all know how important it is to have that ability.
This should give Michigan some added credibility when it comes to recruiting point guards...not that we seem to need it right now but it certainly won't hurt our cause.
Outstanding. Congrats to Trey.
DUH....who else? WE ON
