Well yeah, that Darien Harris at LB. Looks like he's moving into the 2 spot at the star lb position. He was the team mate of Cooper who we also made a top 2 for last year and lost out on. Kinda sucks. Spent a few years working on getting into Dematha and got one kid, made a top 2 for another, and then they hired a new coach with FSU ties.
RJ Williamson has looked pretty good too and we heard alot last year about Shilique Calhoun. Marcus has grown a little and is moving from DE to DT, should be interesting. Kyle Kerrick enrolled early and is a big sized posession type receiver who is gonna see time as a freshman and we've been waiting for Juwan Caesar to get healthy after surgery. It's always fun to see a huge receiver out there. Also, we had a FB step up which obviously helps in the running game and a walk on TE impress in the spring. That's a position of need for sure.
Sam will be handled by Hubbard. Hes really tall and athletic, had d1 offers to play basketball. Hes probably around 240.
Jack lb is dickson. Hes another guy, around 250.
Both guys were top 250 ranked guys.
In our defense, will and mike are the inside guys. There will be a pretty good rotation between mosely, johnson and depriest with mosely and johnson getting most of the pt. Johnson is best in run coverage, mosely is best in pass coverage while depriest is a heady guy that will lead our lbs when the others leave.
One of our corners has started since his true freshman year, former 5 star milliner. The other side will be named by a juco guy or former top 60 player and junior, fulton.
We are slightly smaller than we were last year, but still huge compared to most.
Interesting, you guys should be solid again, it'll be a great game this year. DeMatha would be a great school to build a pipeline into but it seems that's difficult to do at certain schools like that, schools that produce large volumes of talent each year.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
Alabama has recruited better overall talent the last 3 years, including this past #1 class. Alabama also has more speed and athleticism. Michigan needs to out-smart and out-scheme Alabama from start to finish to pull the upset.
