Dude Pitt couldn't even beat Youngstown State! So much for Pitt beating any D2 team. I love discussions, but do you even do any research before spouting off this nonsense?
And yet Pittsburgh nearly beat Notre Dame in South Bend.
I love discussions but what do you hope to gain by being one-sided?

Ya I'd think he probably knows more than a guy from a football recruiting website called Frank C, whos more than likely never played an organized sport his entire life.
Gringo Mafia Sergeant at Arms - 5 time POTW
And this is why you should never ASSume even to make a worthless jab.
I don't feel the need to provide a presumptuous Notre Dame douche bag with my resume but a few here know what I do for a living, what my credentials are, and what I aspire to be.
But back to the my point: being a NBA champion does not necessarily guarantee said player credibility into the issues of another sport.
Challenge that point or STFU + GTFO.
Well, he said Pitt would beat any MAC team or D2 team, but they lost to YSU. You don't find that odd?
See this is just one of the reasons I quit posting on tBB. Some of you posters take these discussions way to seriously. Look at how fired up you're getting dude. Over what? Because I think that a professional athlete with 5 rings on his fingers is more qualified to make a decision about a Heisman trophy winner than a professional "poster" on a football recruiting website? Like Magic Johnson is just secluded to the game of basketball because that's the game he played? He's more than likely been around the game of football and football players more than you have.
But Frank C from 247 thinks he's not qualified...can you imagine what he'd say to you??
I, along with many others here, can only hope that you decide to quit posting from our site.
And yes I can imagine what he'd say - it would be on par with the dogsh!t nonsense he says on TNT. For a 5 -time NBA Champion, his resident "expert analysis" is mind-numbingly trite and disappointingly shallow.
But let's return to the topic at hand - the 2012 Heisman. Here's how I would proceed. I would simply ask him: Who did you think should have won the Hesiman in 2011? Why?
If he says Robert Griffin III, he's fucked.
If he says Andrew Luck, he's fucked.
If he says Tyrann Mathieu, then his support of Manti Te'o is at least consistent.
Chances are he says RGIII or Luck which he means he has already lost this debate.
See how easy that was?
But let's assume that that he says Mathieu, in that case I would ask him to explain what the Heisman is supposed to celebrate:
- Is it a Most Valuable Player award?
- Is it a Best Player on the Best Team award?
- Is it a Best Highlight Reel award?
- Is it a combination of those 3 categories?
If you are intelligent, then you should already realize by now how easy it would be to pick apart Magic Johnson's answer.
I'm not some sheep that gets star struck just because of the name. I look for something substantial and consistent. If it's not there, then I proceed to dismiss statements since talk is cheap. This process is called critical thinking. Try it some time.
That was a methodical verbal beatdown.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Yawn...how did I know you'd beat down that horse named speculation.
Well given that he can only realistically give 3 to 5 answers to my first question, it's not speculation.
Here's another thing you seem unfamiliar with: process of elimination.
Your parents/teachers/whoever undoubtedly failed you.

I was correct about the other stuff though.

20 years of mediocrity has really gone to your head. Congratulations on finally having a solid football team. Ohio State and Michigan, yes I said it,Michigan, have been doing this for years. And good luck getting your asses handed to you if you play Alabama. And if you play Georgia, you won't even be the favorite in that game. And yes, I guess I'll have to deal with the Buckeyes being the only undefeated team in the country this season. That's a tough one to swallow.
So, I'm right?
Notre dame's coach should be in jail, kid dies from his negligence and nothing happens to him, their culture speaks for itself
Ya that's a shame
Cooler helmets?? Ok, your completely irrational now, and you will get a downvote anytime I see your name. Go find a priest and have him treat you like a school boy.
Obviously Erv didn't pay attention to RGIII last year. This link posted on the previous page puts it all in perspective. The honey badger had a better year last year then Teo did, lets be honest.
Why Texas AM redshirt freshman Johnny Manziel deserves to hoist the Heisman Trophy in 2012. Stat comparisons are visualized with a beautiful infographic.
Coming into this season I had hoped we'd go 8-5, actually thought we'd be 7-6. I when posters were saying 11-2, 10-3, and undefeated. I'm on cloud 9 and a loss in a BCS championship won't change that much. Sure I'll be pissed/angry for a few days if we lose, but I'll get over it quickly. I've always thought next year would be our BCS run, that's not changing. Now I know our schedule isn't as easy as yours, but it's manageable. Recruiting is taking off and that's what's really important. Now should we win the BCS,
