Ok, can I post it now that it has been officially released by the University? Brandin Hawthorne, Will Hagerup, and J.T. Floyd have been dismissed from the team for the Outback Bowl. I posted this 2 hours ago but it was removed.

It was removed because it was an unsubstantiated rumor that was borderline libelous to the kids. I'm not sure why you're so up in arms on this. It's common practice on any message board. It wasn't allowed on MGoBlog either.
Now we can discuss it because it's a fact, not a rumor.
Are they kicked off or just suspended? Webb said suspended
Duck did the right thing.
Good luck to the young men going forward.
2 of the kids are out of eligibility... really makes no difference if they are kicked off or suspended.
SUSPENDED, not dismissed. Please correct the OP.
Michigan Football @umichfootball
J.T. Floyd, Brandin Hawthorne & Will Hagerup have been suspended for the Outback Bowl for a violation of team rules.
The difference is whether they have to leave Michigan right now, and are no longer on scholarship. It is a much harsher punishment, and implies something far worse.
Suspended like you said (Webb said it)... also:
Michael Rothstein @mikerothstein
JT Floyd, Brandin Hawthorne and Will Hagerup all suspended for the Outback Bwl, per Michigan release.
CoachBrown, I'm sure you're gonna get mad at me again, but they were not kicked off the team so I changed the OP.
I get that.... I'm taking about in a football sense.... played their last games either way.
Thanks. Let us make sure we are accurate. Clearly they screwed up, but not enough to get dismissed.
Also.. really big blow for JT Floyd. Remember he's from South Carolina, and they were one of the first schools to offer him. He was really looking forward to this match up.
Then he probably shouldn't have screwed up..
This is why I am starting to hate this board. Some people actually have good info and it's not just people making up stupid crap(unsubstantiated rumor). Obviously somebody knew stuff last night as it got leaked so I honestly don't see the problem with posting about it before the university makes a release.
And what happens when you have 5 wrong rumors to every 1 correct rumor?
Thanks for that insightful piece of wisdom.
It sucks that the team won't have him, but gotta make sure these young men realize their actions have consequences.

Well i would like to decide for myself which rumor is correct rather than just have the mods delete every rumor. Heck 247 obviously likes rumors considering they started a whole Board dedicated to rumors. It's not hard to figure out which person on here to trust and who not to.
Its irresponsible towards the players.
Then redirect those starting "rumor" threads to the rumor board. I agree that after time we know whose opinions are reliable and who is fos.
Well i disagree.
All I know is what I'm told to do. I'm told to abide by certain rules. Spreading rumors about players getting kicked off the team is one thing that we're not supposed to allow. It's just like whenever we speculate scholarship numbers, we don't put the names of the 5th year seniors we don't think will be renewed. We always say that we shouldn't bash recruits because parents and recruits read these boards, and I know for a fact that there are several football players on our team who read this very board. So I'm sorry, but allowing any rumor to pop up and gain legs doesn't sound appealing to me.
The rumor was allowed to stay up in the VIP thread though
Everyone chill....lets not act like our females down south in ohio! Were better then this
You can talk about rumors without bashing the kids. If they turn out to be false there won't be any harm to it. Sorry but someone saying they heard a certain kid was suspended is not that big a deal. If it's not true then everyone will know the kid didn't do anything to get suspended.
Obviously we won't see Floyd or Hawthorne again because of graduation. Hagerup could be back next year, so being kicked of the team is a lot different then being suspended.
