I kind of figured, Scott and Cole talked up the package deal until Cole committed to Michigan. You think Scott stays more south?
Agreed Steve .... questions ....
1. Do you think a Campbell would commit this year?
2. If #1 possible, would Hoke accept a commit so soon? Could he be another S. Morris?
3. If no commit this year, once Cole leaves could our shine wear off?

1. No 2. Yes/Not sure 3. Probably not
Thank you ..... I would rather him take his time ..... much too soon ....
That doesn't mean much if the chance of Scott playing for Michigan is close to zero.
So, with that in mind, would your comment is more driven by the high likelihood of Campbell coming to Michigan or the low likelihood of Scott becoming a Wolverine?
If he is visiting then he is interested.
Do you say this because of Campbell's interest or because of Scott's lack thereof?
Not sure why everyone is suddenly so low on Scott. If I go back to the mock class threads we had, just about everyone put Scott on their list, and the only things that have changed since then are
-His teammate and good friend committed to M
-He scheduled a visit for the Spring Game
I like Scott!!! Sign 'em up.
I think the spring game tells us where Scott is headed with Michigan.
I think Campbell has legitimate interest in Michigan. Every person I talked to related to his visit talked about how great of a time he had and how well he got along with not only the other recruits, but the current players as well.
I don't think Michigan is out of it with Scott at all, I just don't think he's warmed up to Michigan as much as Campbell has.
I mean, isn't that like a captain obvious kind of thing? If he leaves and says he really enjoyed himself then yea UM may be sitting well with him. That's like saying if a kid doesn't commit by December he'll likely wait until NSD or close to it.
Not trying to be a certain way, I think we have a big opportunity with him visiting. So certainly hoping for the best.
Name to keep an eye on, likely at defensive end:

David Edwards; quarterback out of Downers Grove North in Illinois. Nice looking quarterback. They're still in the really early stages of looking over quarterbacks right now with only a couple (Kevin Dillman of La Mirada stands out) that are getting legitimate looks.
Watch David Edwards, and 12 other videos.
Simeon Lane; impressive defensive tackle out of St. Xavier in Cincinnati. Will likely camp this summer.

I was wondering the same thing myself. Or I thought maybe there had been some premium info pointing Scott away from Michigan. Anyway, Scott and Harris are my dream wr combo. I really want and we really need two elite (deep threat) receivers in this years class to compliment our power running game.

Daivon Ellison (Don Bosco Prep in NJ); quick player, fits the nickel corner mold the coaches have targeted. Has gotten looks as well.

No. Some on this board spout the opinion 'maybe he is just a quiet kid with his recruitment'. I think we hear something to indicate direction - more than the usual. Obvious ? To some, yes. To others, no.
Matthew Burrell, Fredericksburg, VA; already holds multiple high level BCS offers (Va Tech, UNC, Maryland)

Larry Scott (Hubbard, OH). This is definitely a name to remember at running back. Hasn't been offered yet, but fits Michigan perfectly and will have lots of BCS offers when it's all said and done.
