Saw Dareian at the NFTC and Friday Night Lights in CBUS last summer(going into his junior year). He looked a notch below the Michigan/OSU/ND level, to my eyes. Northwestern seems like a perfect fit. Perfect offense. Not a lot of pressure there. I expect him to star at NW. He doesn't do anything elite, but he's definitely a good player. JMO.
Yes, very cool.
I think Ways will turn out to be the better of the two. Chatter I've seen is he flew under the radar for a long time and was just starting to really get noticed when we offered. FWIW he's also bigger. Nothing like having multiple athletic 6'3"-6'6" receiving targets on the field at all times to give your opponents major matchup headaches.
I would rather have Ways than Watkins, for many reasons. Watkins should be a perfect fit at/for NW though. Congrats to them!
Moe released and sent out his film pretty late actually. I believe Michigan may have offered even earlier if he had released it when most players do.
He was a little salty about that, yes?
Dareian? Nope, not really. The Michigan coaches were honest and upfront about it with him. He never gave me that vibe at all and I continue to talk to him occasionally. Talked to him this morning actually.
You guys remember what this looked like last night?
My bad, I recalled a tweet that I thought was from him where he made mention of not being offered. Thanks.
Do they take date predicted into account on that? If not the whole concept is going to be a waste.

It was supposed to be scored based on the duration of your prediction and how many times you switched. So bonus points for predicting early compared to a last second flip like you see on Watkins' page.
Also I find it pretty funny that Sparty's acronym on that page is "MIST".
I believe it will when it's fully implemented.
I don't think so...the point is to give you a snapshot of what the thinking is on a prospect at any given moment. In that regard the Crystal Ball worked perfectly...Watkins looked really good for MSU, then he had a visit to NW that changed everything and he committed. Obviously the pattern early in the cycle is going to be toward 100% consensuses...if a kid is committing this early, there are pretty much always going to be strong indicators of where he's going. It will be more interesting, from a "who's best at prediction-making" standpoint, when kids start doing hat dances at All American games or on NSD and there are conflicting reports, opinions all over the place, and it seems like a true toss up between schools.
When they do the analyst accuracy ranking/ratings whatever you prefer to call it... earlier predictions will carry more weight.

Well ok that works too
Sam Webb @SamWebb77: RT @ScoutMichigan Five-star Adoree Jackson names a few standouts before list officially gets cut... ($) michigan.scout.com/2/1289535.html…
Don't have VIP on Scout, but I assume this is something positive?
Grew up in Illinois, got an Illinois offer...was always a huge Illinois bball fan. Was a bball fan growing up and wanted to play bball for Illinois. That isn't going to happen now obviously lol, since he's a football player. Saying all the right things. "The Fighting Illini really have a chance to get me to commit," he continued. We all know that kid ain't going to Illinois lol. Named like 5 other schools that are sticking out to him , Michigan included.
Anyone sees TomVH's post of something big brewing in the future for this class.
Can't say that I did personally. Never saw anything on his Twitter or whatever.

so Jackson likes Notre Dame a lot....
Yeah, he said something big and positive. I'm really excited to see what it will be. Also said that Bars might be ready to commit but he isn't really sure about anything with him and our staff is on Nyles Morgan now.

It's not his Twitter, he said all that stuff on the ESPN recruiting website. And really that more or less is the exact quote. Basically he says he's heard a few things big about the class down the road but needs to check on it and there will be more at a later time.
