Sparty got their own scraps
Can you provide any sources? That would be awesome, Brown is just as good as Hand (more of a DT) if not better because he could play SDE along with DT
mentioned earlier that Saeed Blacknall named LSU his leader. TOS now quoting him with a top-3: LSU, Ohio State, and Florida State, in that order. He also said this, though.
"I was asked by my mom and my coaches about which school I liked and decided 'What the heck?!' All of this could change though when I visit Ohio State and Michigan," Blacknall said. "I need to see Michigan and go from there. I could go there and get my mind blown and that would make the decision even tougher."
So, maybe not to be abandoning hope just yet
Good, I really like Blacknall.
Me too, and Jabrill Peppers. After growing up in the Midwest, I've lived in the NY/NJ area for the last 20 years and I love seeing kids in my area like Blacknall and Peppers with interest in Michigan. I'm not sure if you guys know this but U of M has a stellar reputation here in the Northeast (probably everywhere, but I only know about the NE personally). Michigan is pretty much seen as on par with Ivy league schools academically and a football powerhouse to boot. Anyway, for some reason there really aren't any good football schools in the NE. Rutgers has had a bit of success lately, but historically its a joke and Syracuse is more of a basketball school. Unfortunately, Penn State does very well in this area simply due to proximity (IMO).
Anyway, that's great to hear about Blacknall. Thanks for the update.
Also, that news about Andrew Brown is incredible. I'm almost drooling thinking about a d-line with Mone, McDowell, Hand and Brown. Has Brown talked about an unofficial visit this spring or summer? That would really say something.

Brown's still really really reaaalllllyyyyy early in his process. He named us to a top-10 list a few months back and has discussed wanting to visit us in the summer, but from everything I've read he's not looking to move quickly at all. If he comes at all, I wouldn't expect to see him on campus before the Big House BBQ, personally.

I've lived in New York my entire life (outside of my time at Michigan) and while UM is highly respected, it is not looked at similarly to an Ivy. In fact, it also comes after several other schools such as Northwestern, Duke, Hopkins, Stanford, MIT, and others. I love the University of Michigan but let's not kid ourselves.
Because he is the next Tim Tebow, obviously
I would literally be so happy...it just sounds so unrealistic, yet so realistic at the same time!!haha
I'll be talking with Andrew this week and we'll know a lot more.
Thanks. Very interested in how legit the talk is.
According to RCMB he really is I doubt Tebow was considering Akron out of high school though
O' Connor was not going to MSU IMO. MSU has a backlog of QBs, and O' Connor will want to compete for time quickly. Just my

...... Like what I am reading .....
Proximity is indeed the primary reason (kids get to see Penn State on TV a lot, most likely). I have to give credit to our TE coach, John Strollo. NJ is his primary recruiting area and he's done a better job recruiting than I thought he would.
