Recap from Biddle.
My post was agreeing with u...
Jack Daniel is the one on the ledge over twitter and something reported by Dave Bias Biddle
Yeah, I might be overreacting, but McDowell is the one guy Michigan needs to get in 2014.
A recap? From Biddle? I'll pass. Let us know when you have a link to the recording so we can hear what McDowell said in his own words.
Bosch, Douglas, Taco, Butt, Tuley-Tillman and Thomas are on campus and enrolled.
He definitely grew up in a Michigan household. Can't say what his rooting interests are, but its likely that he, like many teenagers, were telling adults he wished to please, what he thought they wanted to hear.
Step back from the ledge and drink your own drink and let the coaches do their thing
You can listen to it at that link as well.
"Ohio State was one of my favorite teams as a child."
"They will be at the top of my list when I start cutting down on teams"
More spin from bucknuts.
No one recruit is a "must get". That does not exist. Life won't end if McDowell doesn't come to Michigan, Our coaches are perfectly capable of recruiting and securing commitments from other excellent D-line prospects.
It's unbelievable that there are still people who listen to them.
very depressing man
unreal.....it actually kills me that they believe the dude will go there. Malik loved everyone growing up
It will be even better then when he commits somewhere else
No, it's not. If you've ever spent five minutes with the average Bucknut, it's totally believable.
Thanks. I just listened to it. Two times he was asked about OSU and both times he said they were "among" his favorites growing up. He never says they were his favorite. Also, when he says OSU will be "atop" his list when he cuts things down, he seems to mean "in the top group". He never says they are his leader and, in fact, has to be repeatedly prodded to say anything much about OSU or Urban Meyer.
FWIW Steve Wiltfong, who is much more credible than Dave Biddle, has consistently said that he thinks ND is the slight leader for McDowell with UM a close second. I asked Wiltfong today why he believes McDowell likes ND and he said McDowell and his parents are impressed with ND's academics/graduation rate. Assuming that is accurate, it seems very unlikely OSU has suddenly taken the lead for McDowell after only a couple of phone calls with Urban Meyer. Their academics are about average for the B10, but significantly below both ND's and UM's.

For those of you that are still curious about the “surprise” that I tweeted about earlier, I gave it a name. #Project135
Webb said something about it being a recruiting tool for recruits and future recruits....or something along those lines. Its not a recruiter or new staff member
It may be t-shirts for the class or something fun for the kids to be apart of
Maybe he is starting his own Team135 escort service and it wont be provided by the university...therefore they arent considered benefits
In fairness, this is no more unrealistic than my Unicorns and Rainbows class for us...
