Gonna make this college choice soon #DecisionsDecisions
Be nice if we freaking offered the kid!!!!!
His decision list does make you wonder though with no offer from Oklahoma or Oklahoma State.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Patience my man... the offer/offers should go out shortly after the Bowl.
Yea i know. Hopefully the coaches stay behind after the 1st and hand out a few offers to some Florida kids
I think Cornwell and Barker are going to be the first 2 QBs offered in this class. I think Henderson would have been right there, but it seems like the academic issues could be for real.
That would be very very disappointing if we don't offer within the next few weeks
Someone posted about Gerald Owens before but I think he's worth revisiting since his junior was recently posted.
He reminds me of Daniel Gresham (the FB that committed to Texas and was a package deal with Damien Knox).
While his competition doesn't seem impressive, Owens Jr. seems like a great prospect.
According to 247Sports, Rutgers is way out in front.

The kid is super athletic. Had visited PSU a couple times before the sanctions were levied, not sure he's interested anymore.
JMO, but if he had a true position, he'd have a ton more offers. But where do you put him? Guy's huge for a RB (though I think he could succeed there), big for a LB, about the size for a DE, but is that where he wants to play? He has mentioned before that he wants to play RB, but hasn't been absolute about it.
That sounds a lot like our current 2013 commit Wyatt Shallman. Coming in as a RB at 6'3 250 but a lot of people think he should end up at DE.
Has Shallman played DE at all? I'm not sure what positions Owens has played on D. His coach used to post on our board and said himself he really wasn't certain where to put him.
Yes, I believe he played DE, RB, FB in HS.
A little basketball info. I go to school with 2014, 6'11" PF/C Miroslav Jaksic. For the game yesterday vs. Detroit Country Day, Northwestern and Duke coaches were in attendance, as was John Beilein. He was offered a few days ago by Iowa State and seems to be picking up a lot of interest from other schools. He's a stick right now, but he's got a great shot for being so big, which is something you can't teach. He could use work defensively and, of course, in the weight room, but he could be a potential offer for 2014.
Judging by the name he's probably either Serbian or Croatian. AmIrite?
Serbian, although I'm not sure he ever lived in Serbia. All I know is he moved here from Canada last year.
BTW just saw this on twitter.
@DavidCornwell5 Is UM still up there for you? Looks like they are about to send out QB offer/offers . And I would think you're at the top.
28 Dec DC5 @DavidCornwell5
@UMGoBlue2 yea there top 5 for sure!
Good news! Was that someone on here by chance?
After watching an ESPN interview of Cornwell, I get the impression that he likes Oklahoma and Oklahoma State but he really wants the Michigan offer. It seems to me that's the offer he's waiting for.

I talked with Cornwell yesterday and I will be posting that chat soon. He sounds like he really likes Michigan but he lives in Oklahoma and neither the Cowboys or the Sooners have any interest in him. I find that a little odd.
Agreed. Makes you wonder.

If he is supposed to be a stud QB in the state of Oklahoma....why would those schools not be interested? Does he have grade issues or does he just not fit their systems? I'm confused.
"Those Who Stay...Will be Champions"
He hasn't been in Oklahoma long.
He lived in Nebraska then moved to Florida and went on a mission to Bali before moving to Oklahoma.
I would love to get Cornwell on board soon. Then follow him with either Andrew Ford or Tyler Wiegers for our 2nd QB (assuming we take 2). Adam Bertke and Luke Ward as other options for the "second" spot.
Cornwell and Ford possible but not probable. I think Wiegers could be a logical choice for the second QB.
Found this funny.
If you read the OSU one first it says he may visit MSU, but the Dad not sure. Then the MSU on gives a date in which day he will visit.
4-Star defensive back Damon Webb has visited Ohio State multiple times. He plans to be back in Columbus with his father in less than two weeks.
4-Star defensive back and Spartan target Damon Webb has visited Michigan State before. He might soon be back in East Lansing for another visit.
Webb is not going to MSU ..... OSU ... different level of competition for us.
Wasn't commenting on that. Was talking about the article itself
