He was knocked out of bounds. His helmet hit the guy on the chin for the KO. LT has a running TD and just got a long TD catch. LT broke two tackles and ran for 50+.
God I love him.
I really think he's gonna start at SS next year.
Regular season is over and I would hope the coaches are hitting the road Monday to stop by some schools... Need some sort of playmakers in this class on offense... The team has very little impact players on offense... Maybe they will use Funchess a little more next year
We still have bowl practices
Totally agree today showed we need a big time RB to go with what should be a great line in a few years. It looks like Chizik will get fired at Auburn, which can only help Michigan in that recruitment. I know we have DeVeon Smith coming in with the same class but we have no real depth at RB today it was seen. I just don't see us getting a baller at the WR position until hopefully the 14 class, I've pretty much lost hope in the Treadwell recruitment.
We really need Treadwell next year. Don't think it's going to happen though..
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
And then some
For some reason, the coaches seemed to have "cooled" on Treadwell. They most likely figure that he has visited multiple times and knows what he's getting from Michigan.
They know Treads loves the attention and are most likely looking at different options. The Treadwell ship has set sail about a month ago when we really cooled on him.
The best shot we have is with McQuay and it's a pretty good shot. Derrick Green is finding every other reason not to play in any conference but the SEC.
Conley is as good as gone as well. It's going to be a depressing time till NSD, as we will just try and hold the players we have and try and keep them committed.
It'll be interesting to see how Chesson and Darboh do in spring ball.
Is former DE/OLB Kerry Neal going to be part of this new group? I've seen where Enoch Smith Jr. has trained with him and they chat on twitter...
I don't think the coaches have cooled on any of the big 3 prospects left on the board... Not making excuses but thinking that they had a chance at winning the B1G and had a team that they really needed to coach up, took a higher priority... I think they hit the road hard and give the kids some time off to get them ready for some grueling bowl practices.
Agreed. LM III is the best bet ... and I still feel good about him. DG is less than 50-50 right now. We would need a miracle at this point with LT.

Gareon Conley was there, not sure why he is still listed as a commit.
Hell change the policy and tell him he can play ALL WR
If you were an elite WR would you commit to play for this offense?
The thing I'm worried about the most is all of these lineman we have red-shirted. I hope they are much more talented then the current crew, because our OL has been bad to terrible. Some of our better recruiting position coaches have not impressed this year with their coaching of the positions. Rb, OL, are the most noticeable IMO.
Coaching can only take you so far with the level of talent. All of the OL on the field were recruited to play the spread and they were not exactly high 4-5 stars. Then smith is a small spread back and Rawls was a 3 star late offer. Last yr we had denard and fitz both over 1000 yrds, was the coaching unimpressing then?

This isn't last season. The offensive lineman that RR recruited did a much better job last year. Why is that? Yes the team had two 1,000 yard rushers last year, is this year development? Where is the logic in that?
Logic tells me they should be better than last year or at least in the same range. I don't get it
I think that the biggest factor of why the offensive line is not quite as good as last year is the leadership that David Molk provided at center last year with his talent and his knowledge of defenses and coordinating the blocking schemes by calling them out before the snap. I believe that we have the same amount of talent this year and going forward but we just need that "general" on the line and that is best handled by a center that can see the whole line (as opposed to a tackle trying to take charge by looking the whole way down to the opposite side).
But lets try to keep this tbread to recruiting
This.... I don't get why people don't understand that losing the best Center in CFB is going to be a huge hit to the OL when you don't have depth.
Because we lost two key pieces to the line with nobody good replacing them?
We just threw a guy in at center who didnt even practice there all year....what does that tell us?
I have a hard time seeing any of the 12 or 13 kids being a downgrade from Barnum, Mealer, Omameh and possibly Schofield as soon as next year... Melaer Barnum and Omameh were downright terrible this year and Schofield not much better... That is why having another option like Dawson (wink) is a good idea... Need as many bodies and options as possible even if they are true frosh.
