Yea what I miss?
+2, inquiring inuyestas want to know
People are jumping the gun. His visit to AA went very well and there is a chance he might not be able to make it back out to USC on an OV because of his HS playoff schedule. But this is far from a done deal. It's a mistake to get everyone's hopes up. These things can change very, very quickly.
agreed, I think this is a little premature like the good feelings on Bailey, he had a great visit, most kids do but they don't all end up signing with us. I would love it if LM3 did end up in our class but I'm not getting too excited until after he visits usc.
Duh?!? We're Michigan
People I know in Team Blue said he loved his visit. I would still only say that we are approximately even with USC now if not still a bit behind.
McQuay is only going to USC to poach Cravens for us
Is there speculation that he may not make the trip???
No, just wishful thinking.
I'd be happy if he came back with Ty Isaac.
In a Scout article they say they might not make the USC visit if playoffs run into it
I like your chances, but USC will be tough to beat. They also have Nelson Agholar who has known LM3 for a long time..
He was all Gator the moment they finally came to their senses and offered..
I guess if Treadwell doesnt give us an official, and McQuay doesnt give USC an official, it kind of evens out
I know it's old news. I was replying to what Rico commented on about USC being full. Stupido

While I agree with this, it kinda makes me wonder why we bother following recruiting. If you don't want to feel the ups and downs of the roller coaster, then don't get on. Having said that, I'm usually one who thinks people get too high or too low from this kind of stuff so who am I to talk. Well, that's my introspective time for the day. My wife will be ecstatic that I spent it thinking about this board.
I agree, the whole point of following this stuff is to look at probabilities at a given time. Right now, things look about as good as they will for McQuay to Michigan. That can certainly change, and as time goes on and his memories of the weekend start to fade, our chances will start to fall, that's the nature of the business. But right now, things look a lot better than they did in his recruitment.
Should we all just ignore Jabril Peppers for 2014 because odds are low we get him, even though it's 16 months from signing day? For me, what makes following recruiting fun is the constantly changing landscape with the ups and downs. In 30 minutes of the Northwestern game we felt good, then bad, then really bad, then ecstatic, recruiting is the same thing, but drawn out over weeks/months instead of minutes. Right now in terms of McQuay, it's like when Gardner hit Funchess to take the lead on Saturday. We're feeling pretty good, but there is a lot of time left and USC is getting the ball back with the official visit in December. They may take the lead at that point, or they may fumble it away, but right now it looks like we have momentum, so we should enjoy it.
I think David Dawson MIGHT be back in this class before it's all said and done. Don't be surprised.
Agree. But that's not what I was trying to say. I was trying to say that people need to keep this stuff in perspective. What has been happening more and more on here lately is that anytime anyone posts the slightest cryptic tidbit of third party information or rumor many people take it as Gospel. And then, when it turns out to be just another head fake, those same people go batshit crazy as if they were intentionally misled or the prospect did something wrong. People should be encouraged to pass along information. That's why many of us are here. But remember, the vast majority of the time the cryptic tidbits of info mean absolutely nothing and the rumors turn out to be untrue. Just keep it in perspective.
Anything can happen...anyone who has followed recruiting of a while knows this!
I would be surprised
I would be shocked.
