He must just be reaffirming his visit. He had his Michigan visit set up for the MSU game for about a month and texted TomVH at 2 pm on Saturday asking what time the game was. I think that says something about his interest in Michigan.
Per TVH, Treadwell is not going out to Oklahoma this weekend because he has a game. He's also trying to reschedule his Michigan visit, depending on how his season schedule works out.
I just don't buy it yet. He needs to visit again before I raise my hopes again.
I hope he schedules his visit for the Northwestern game.
I have a feeling that's the game where the coaches will really open up the passing game.

I'm still convinced that Oklahoma hiring Treadwell's uncle will be the deciding factor.

He's apparently had that job for awhile. Not sure how close he and his uncle are, but it doesn't seem like a deciding factor.
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't think I would want to play for any of my family members, maybe with my family, but certainly not for.
Why did he cancel his visit? Did he give a reason?
Which one? His Oklahoma one is because he has a game, his most recent Michigan cancellation is because he forgot about the game.
The Michigan one....Forgot about the game, seriously??
Forgot about the game is not true. He clearly forgot the time of the game but he knew we had a game. its also clear he appears he wants to focus on getting a state championship hence his reason for missing our game and OU. And that's very important, i like a kid who wants to push his team thru and get to recruiting later. I think folks just need to take a step back and just see what happens instead of reading into everything.

Forgetting the time = forgetting about the game IMO.
Hardly. Take it easy on the kid bro, he's 17 and he has a lot going on in his life. Just because he doesn't know what time the game is does not mean it wasn't a priority. He probably gets like 50 letters a day, and calls and texts for days.
Lol, I checked Friday night to see the game was on at 330. C'mon fam.
He had the visit scheduled for about a month, you think he would write the time down and if he was serious about it he would have arranged his travel plans a few weeks before the visit.
I feel so bad for him, he has a free ride to every school in the country. I mean, receiving mail he doesn't have to actually read and short calls from coaches must be incredibly hard.
The difference is you are just watching it, not planning on traveling 4 hours to watch it and meet with coaches.
Both Ole Miss and Oklahoma have home games that weekend so will be tougher. I think they are fighting for a OV after the season.
Laquon Treadwell @SuccessfulQuon
Not gone be able to visit any colleges for a long month or two sorry guys...
Have to think this does work in our favor.

Dude, take your blinders off. You see he is also not making it out to OU either. Clearly his plans changed, who knows when he decided he wasn't visiting UM but it was an unofficial, not an official visit. If it was official his itinerary is laid out for him, so being it was unofficial it's very conceivable that he forgot what time the game came on. Bigger point is he asked Tom what time the game was so its safe to assume that though he didn't come he did watch us. I can see how the roller coaster ride with his recruitment has been undesirable but think about who's recruitment it is. It's his, so clearly he can do what he wants. If there was foolishness going on, the coaches have demonstrated that they don't cater to it and they would have stopped recruiting him. The facts are players have openly stated as recently with da'mario jones that the coaches are waiting to see what happens with treadwell so they must feel good enough about him so why appear all disheveled over treadwell and his actions, especially when it's not even based on facts.
The fact is he scheduled this Michigan visit a month ago, meaning he had to contact the coaches to get tickets and make sure he was able to attend. After that he should have made travel plans and marked it down on a calendar.
Instead, when asked if he was visiting for the game, he responded with "What times the game?" As if he has no prior knowledge of it.
Who said to feel badly for him? He has a busy schedule and easily could have forgotten about the gametime. Heck after next weeks game against Nebraska I couldn't name 1 kickoff time for us.
Busy schedule? Doing what? School work? The kid only has to float through school and pass all his classes. The only "busy" aspect of his life is opening mail.
Most of his games are on fridays, so if he actually planned on visiting schools, he could.
Why setup a visit if you have no intention of actually going? Even if you are to cancel, why not inform the staff previously?
If you remember, this isn't the first time he has cancelled a visit.
I think so too...
If Michigan gets to a BCS Bowl but Oklahoma does not, then I like our chances.
Winning one's conference and being invited to a BCS Bowl generates a lot of publicity.
Oklahoma still has the following games left: Notre Dame, @ West Virginia, Oklahoma State, and @ TCU.
If Oklahoma loses at least one of those games, then the Sooners like fall out of contention for a BCS bid. Losing two or more losses guarantees no BCS Bowl.
And you honestly think LT is making his decision on who goes to a BCS bowl?
So not agree.
How do you know only busy aspect of his life is opening mail? Obviously a lot more if he doesnt plan to visit schools for a month or two. Let the process play out. He doesnt owe anything to anyone that is a fan. Coaching staff I'm sure have contact with Tread and will make a decision based on that. I still feel if you are to ask any fan base how confident you feel to land Treadwell, that Michigan is best bet.
