Thanks. I hope I am correct on this or you people will give me hell.
I wouldn't worry to much about USC. With the scholarship reductions they are most likely only taking 1 more receiver. There are a couple of west coast receivers that are more likely to end up at USC than Treadwell.
People are worrying too much about Treadwell. I believe he will be Blue in the end. He is destined for great things at Michigan.

So spelling was not my best subject in school and everything I typed sounded better in my head. I still believe Treadwell is heading else where.
Note to the board.....all of my downvotes just expired for the day thanks to Jer89
That's how you win right? Kidding. So because I can think for myself and not follow the herd I get down voted. That's ok I am good with.

1. We were treadwell's first offer, prior to his offer treadwell said he would commit on the spot if offered 2. Treadwell said himself he never envisioned the amt of offers he would receive from elite schools. 3. His coach does not allow decomitting. 4. UM does not allow visits once committed. Treadwell has visited us more than any other school, have you considered the fact that some kids are not afforded an opportunity like this, this is a dream to them to be coveted by sp many programs. Let Treadwell soak in the process. All signs point to treadwell being blue than not being blue but if you want to hide behind your pessimism because of a few misses than that's your choice, cant knock you. Treadwell said him and Montgomery have an understanding, and through all his visits we still sit high with him.
Coaches also told Treadwell they'd have a spot for him no matter what.
Jer your a good sport, keep doing what you do, and by that I mean dont quit your day job.
No problem. If there is a Quon commitment down the road, someday. Please rest assure, I will remember your positive outlook for this recruit.
Cerveza for you!
WOTS is Jaylon Smith will choose ND tomorrow... coach urbs gettin worked!!!
There has to be mass panic in Columbus as they have lost out on a lot of recruits in areas that they need. At least with our misses it's been in areas that we are not thin.
Kid's talented. Our insider, Sean Fitz, watched him play and said he thought Harris would compete for top WR spot in 2013. Not sure why his rating doesn't reflect that, but maybe analysts see it differently. A number of PSU fans seem confident in our chances (he's actually visiting again this month), but I've never seen it. His mom is heavily involved and I think she likes us...but he always seems drawn to the flashier schools - USC, Auburn, Tennessee, etc. Always seems to avoid talking highly of PSU. JMO.
Regarding Treadwell, I can understand why UM fans are worried. Frankly, I wouldn't be. All the signs point to you guys...sometimes kid just don't want to decide quickly. It's the same situation for us and David Williams. He's visited three times, scheduled to visit again soon, is best friends with a lot of our commits, rated one of his visits a perfect 10, etc., but still hasn't committed. Thus, PSU fans are freaking out. However, then other fans remind them of guys like Justin Brown, Eugene Lewis, and plenty of others who had us as the leader for a while, but didn't commit until later. This sort of thing happens. I think you guys get Treadwell, haven't seen any evidence to suggest otherwise (even though I haven't followed his recruitment that much).
Also, McNeill, the last TE OSU was after (and another former "lock"), just dropped them from his short list.
ND, where 5 stars go to die.....
It's great. Really starting to doubt that OSU's class jumps ours in the team rankings this year.
I like that.
Agree. Just looking at the players they still are seriously in the running for, it's hard to see how they move up too far from where they are now.
Who are they even still in the running for? I think they're in it for Robert Foster, but I think he'll wind up at PSU.
It does seem like OSU is in it for quite a few prospects...however in general, it looks like they'll end up as the bridesmaid for a number of them. Though to be honest, I haven't followed their recruiting too closely.
James Quick is the only significant one off the top of my head....hes perfect for a spread offense
Saw that Rivals moved Wyatt Teller to 75 in the top-100. This kid ever going to visit Michigan or is he definitely staying in VA?
