After this upcoming season? Then he would possibly be my all-time favorite player.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
I have no idea who might be available. Could even be someone from a smaller league who is looking for one shot on a bigger stage or just someone looking for a free graduate degree from a top university. Transfer of credits and acceptance into grad school is always a thorny issue, so we shouldn't get our hopes up. But I like the idea, if they can find someone.
I want a Cam Newton type! Seriously hope they can find a pretty solid backup though. Would be a huge add to the current roster.
If its someone who already graduated then transfer of credits won't be a big deal but for JUCOs it probably will be.
Via Rabid via LSUFreek. I didn't see this on our board and I find it hilarious.

What does it mean?
Who's the guy that catches it?
looks like a bama uniform. it would of been funnier if it was a ND player considering drob's 5 int's last year
I don't get it
Looks like we are skippung ann arbor tomorrow. Weather is the culprit. My wife doesn't want to walk around all day in the rain an cold.
But I'm pumped for the spring game, regardless.

Is the game on tv anywhere didnt see it on the channel listings
Big Ten network at 9 pm.
Do you know if I can stream in on BTN2Go?
According to an mlive article:
"The game will be broadcast live beginning at 1 p.m. (I assume ET) by BTN2Go."
Here's a look at tome details about the game and the events surrounding it, as released this week by the school:
I know a good divorce lawyer
@kmeinke: the big news wasn't about the game at all. Hoke said he expects Jake Ryan (ACL) back mid-October."
That would be nice but I'll believe it when it happens.
I was actually surprised when I saw Ryan at the scrimmage. He seemed to move pretty well on crutches. He put pressure down on his knee and was able to bend it every few steps he took.
I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but I was just surprised because he had his surgery about 3 weeks ago.
11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
That would seem, at least slightly ahead of schedule. When I had Tommy John surgery(same concept as ACL surgery for your knee), I was in a sling for 4 weeks and wasn't allowed to extend my arm until about 6 weeks in.
Hopefully, he's ahead of schedule but the last thing that anybody would want is for him to come back before he's ready and hurt it again. Also, with ACL's a person usually isn't 100% until at least a year out. I'd hate to see him come back not 100% and ruin his chance at a medical redshirt because he tried rushing back too soon.
I tore both my ACLs and it's not uncommon to be able to bear weight right or shortly after surgery. After my first one I was allowed to bear weight immediately but on my second one I was non-weight bearing for a month (had meniscus damage too). Still had the same recovery time for both even though I was non-weight bearing for a while on the second one. You do almost all the same exercises at physical therapy regardless of your weight-bearing status.
Two ACLs? That's f'ed.
To be honest, if Ryan comes back healthy we dont need him back till Nov. 2nd against Sparty....would be good to get him some snaps before, but not dire
Weight bearing really isn't linked to the ACL that much. The inflammation may make it hard to put weight, but the ACL itself isn't really necessary to put weight on the knee; it is however important for stability.
So sadly, this doesn't really tell us anything.
