I was not sure where to ask this but this thread seems like a good place. I am coming back to Michigan the first week of August and I wanted to know if fall practice was going on and if practice was open to the public? If someone could help me out I would be very much appreciate it. Thanks
Nah. The only practice open to the public is the Spring game. Occasionally donors can get invited, but never the general public.
I really did not think so but I thought I would ask. Thanks for letting me know.
There's a Fan Day on Sunday, August the 11th. No actual practice to watch though.

My last day is the 12th. so that maybe a option. Thanks. +1 for you and vcmarsh1. I do appreciate the help guys.
Michigan vs MSU on BTN starting now.
Football season, Y U NO here already?!
Question. What if Hilliman commits to UM????
Personally, Id love it.
I wonder just how hard the coaches are even pursuing Hilliman at the moment. Seems like it's Fournette, Ballage or bust at running back for this class, which is fine by me.
If you had a choice between Hilliman or Golden Gopher commit Jeffrey Jones, who would you choose? I think I like Jones better to be honest.
He would probably have to visit first.
It seems as if he might be considering Rutgers. He said his commitment will shock everyone. I feel like if he committed to us then we would be settling. We don't have a billion spots to just give away.
Hilliman wont be picking Michigan. He is announcing in early August after visits to Vandy and Miami (FL). Unless either blow him away, he is either going to OSU or Rutgers.
Pretty sure i saw on TomVH's twitter that he said Hilliman would be at michigan this weekend

"TomVH- Michigan this weekend RT @JShankerESPN RB Jonathan Hilliman will commit 2nd week of August after Vandy & Miami visits. Visited Rutgers today
6:28pm - 26 Jul 13"
Jones is nasty, but I think hilliman is great for our O and one of the most underrated backs in the nation. Well, they both are.
Scout and 24/7 are saying that Hilliman won't be here this weekend.
He later said Shanker said he wasnt visiting.
Tom VanHaaren @TomVH 2h
@mjarvi83 @JShankerESPN Jared says he's not, sorry about that
Tom VanHaaren @TomVH 1h
@RyanScibilia looks like hilliman isn't visiting now
"[Jordan Kovacs] is a guy that on film doesn't look that special, not compared to some of the guys out there, but ask our coaches and there was no one they respected more. Our defensive coordinator said he could play for our team any day because he's just so smart, such a great leader, and he plays mistake-free football. Sure enough we play them and you just can't get anything past him. He doesn't go for ball-fakes, doesn't buy play-action, and every time you look downfield, he's there, just waiting for it."
Came from a player from another team at the BIG Media Day. I think we will feel the loss of Kovacs much more early on in the season. High praise though. If he would have had better overall athleticism, what a player he would have been. He was already a heckuva player.
-On Frank Clark:
"We saw some film of him from early in the season and then some stuff from the last few games, and he was a different player. When we saw him, he was motivated. He played pissed off, and he was really a force."
-And then there is this.....
"The thing that really stood out to us was how bad their guards were at pulling. Half the time the running back would be the first guy to the hole and we had a linebacker waiting there. They're supposed to be paving the way but they were so sloppy and so out of position even when they were out ahead you could simply sidestep them or outmuscle them because they had lost their leverage."
-Last one on Jeremy Gallon....
"I don't know how tall [Jeremy Gallon] is but that kid can really sky. We were watching film after a game we lost and our coaches were really hard on one of our guys because he lost a jump ball to Gallon, but then the next week he did it again, and then the next week again. That guy is little but he can play."

@AllenTrieu: Jourdan Lewis goes high and catches a fade over Damon Webb. Place goes crazy
Really excited for Lewis. I feel like it will be him and Peppers when talking about our future CB tandem.
