Eh, it wasn't much of a decision. I was a SS growing up, and I grew up with the Yankees dynasty of the late 90s, so for a kid in NY at that time, everyone wanted to be Jeter. The Yankees were just so damn good that they didn't really give me a choice about who to root for.
I must admit, I was a Yankees fan growing up, but became a Tigers fan when I was 10 or so. I still have a Jeter pennant thing hanging in my room.
Did you grow up in Ithaca?
Yep, moved there when I was 4, started playing Little League that summer, so basically my entire baseball career occurred in NY.
Got Dragon Age 2 for free today!
Go Blue and Go Titans!
That would make sense to why you are a Yankees fan then. I've pretty much grown up in the New England section of New York so there was always a split between Red Sox and Yankees fans. I wanted to be different and I had visited Detroit multiple times, so I chose the Tigers.
Sweet! How'd that happen?
What is that?
Hello guys, I thought I should share this with you, this code allows you to get free games from Origin, and it may not work on alot of games. When you already got your games all ready in the checkout
A video game.
Yeah, Central NY and Western NY are pretty much all Yankees, with a few random Mets thrown in too. The further to the northeast you get, the more of the damn New Englanders bleed in.
I have friends who chose the Orioles, the Rays, and the White Sox just to be different, so I understand that feeling. Michigan is pretty much my only athletic allegiance outside of NY though - Sabres, Bills, Yankees, Syracuse basketball, Cornell hockey.
I like Syracuse too, I follow them for basketball as well, just not as much as Michigan.
Basically I hate all New York and Boston sports teams and follow all the Detroit teams, except for football where I like the Colts because I grew up watching Manning.
I am about to find a new NFL team. Getting tired of the Lions and their bullshit.
Just be a Colts fan, they aren't that good so you won't be called a bandwagon fan, but they have a future franchise QB and will be good very soon.
Don't be a Bills fan. It hurts way, way, way too much.
The Lions went 0-16.
At least you aren't a Browns fan.
I love my Lions but once Brady started over Bledsoe in the first game of the playoffs, I've been a Patriots fan as well. Not really bandwagon, because it was before they won the Super Bowl, and I just love Brady.

I've been a Lions fan for like 30 years. This is the first time where i just can't stand some of the guys. I don't like Schwartz and can't stand all the off the field issues. Not to mention the horrible personal foul penalties they get.
I wanted to be Alan Trammel at one time, and always wanted to play SS. But being tall, big and a lefty I played 1st and pitched.
I was all about Sweet Lou Whitaker. They made me pitch as well in little league and i hated it.
According to mgoblue.com the game saturday is at 3:30 on BTN
Ughh. I hate the BTN.
It's a bicycle.
