tenn vols fan here..i know its down to michigan & tennessee i think..whats the vibe you get is he going to sign with you guy;s or do we have a real shot here at green.
i know he would be a big get for our program..thanks in adavance
He'll take his final two visits before deciding. Looks like it's down to Michigan and Tennessee with Auburn hanging in there IMO.
I'm sure Steve will come and give you a better answer, but he has said that Michigan currently holds the lead. We'll see what happens.
Also Butch Jones already had his in-home visit. Hoke did not.
thank you very much and being very nice..since in from tenn board..and what a heck of game between mich&south.c....michigan played 1 heck of a game...love watching those type of game was a good matchup...we had them beat and let them off the hook and got out coached...thanks for your reply
ide rather see green come to michigan then sec if its not tenn.
No kidding, that game was insane! Heartbreaker for sure, but losing those games is better than losing like we did against Miss St and Alabama
I'll definitely root for Green wherever he goes, seems like a great kid and a great RB.
I think Michigan is out in front. Lead looks substantial.
National Recruiting Analyst
My magic eightball says "outlook good".
Good for Michigan. They've become very good at taking players that Ohio State turns down like Green (Green wanted to be a Buckeye until we told him we didn't have room this summer) and Hurst Jr., or Ohio players we don't even offer like Taco Bell, Butt, Smith, and Gedeon.
Shane has looked absolutely horrible lately, too. Hope you guys don't put all your quarterback chips into his bucket!
Yeh and JT Barrett is looking like a real stud in the all-star games...
You are a fool.
BTW Gedeon had a tOSU offer dumbass.
BG$-- Gedeon talks Ohio State offer Ben says he was 'psyched' to hear about the offer and he has always hoped tOSU would offer. He hopes to make his
So did Smith. And they didn't turn down Hurst.
And if they turned down Green, that's fine by me. Makes our life easier.
Green never 'wanted to be a Buckeye'. He did want to visit. Big difference.
Never surprised by cockeye ignorance. If you want to believe Urb turned down one of the elite RB's in the counry then fine by me, the fact is he will be a monster for a few years. Especially behind the O-Line that is being built (did you notice Kugler & Dawson start, and play as good as anyone in the UA All Star game?
Taco is raw, but elite size & athelticism. I believe he's going to make ohio sad that they gave him so little respect. Butt is equal to the TE ohio ended up getting, so you belittling him is strange to me. Smith, Gedeon, and McCray all had offers also.
The recruiting battles and games will be close for the forseeable future, don't kid yourself thinking otherwise.
" Taco Bell ", that's cute. Here's to taco laying the smack on ohio qb's in the near future. Sir, would you like steak or chicken with that turf grass ?
Lulz what a complete waste of human intelligence this moron is. Shane's worse day is still better then Miller's best day throwing
Nuts getting nervous.
Good luck next year, maybe Urban might actually identify some talent on his own instead of waiting for Hoke to do it first.
Actually, he did.
- He grew up a fan of Ohio because of Eddie George.
- He camped at Ohio.
- He's friends with Curtis Grant who is also from Hermitage HS and is a current Buckeye.
If Jim Tressel was still Head Coach of the Buckeyes, then Green would be a Ohio commit.

Green was given the Urbie Ultimatum to commit or lose his offer during one of his early visits to OSU and he refused. So Urbie went with Elliott instead. Green's much better (i.e. a rarer commodity) than Elliott, though Elliott might fit Urbie's offense better. TBH, after seeing Carlos Hyde run in Urbie's system this year, I'm not sure he does, but I'm extremely glad Urbie screwed up and pulled the trigger on Elliott so we could have Green. He is going to regret the decision for years to come.

Assuming Green comes to Michigan haha...which I certainly hope (and think) happens
not to mention tulley tillman and some other OL....and lets not forget all the piggy back offers Urbie makes....Denzel Ward, Cameron Hunt, Dan Skipper...letting us find Conley for him.
Actually you are wrong....OSU did turn down Hurst they told him they were going in another direction (Hill) as he was ready to commit
If true, likely not, then you guys are going to regret that in 3 years. Kid looked like a beast in the Semper Fi game. He and Poggi on the inside paired with Pipkins are going to be eating your lunch shortly.
I lol'ed, great response

Dawson also stood up Schutt. Ohio just offers any 4/5 star. Michigan actually makes sure they have talent.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
I don't know if there was a turndown, but it sure seemed like a slow play. Hurst visited for the Spring game in Columbus and eleven warriors did an interview with him just after. I recall some quote about how he'd see in a few days/weeks where things stood with OSU because they had 3 DL already (right after Bosa committed) and were figuring out how many more spots they had. He said he was visiting Michigan and MSU soon though so no real way to prove he tried to commit since he never said that.
Can't blame Urbs for turning down Hurst. The talent of Tracy Sprinkle was just too much.
