I believe I offer a unique perspective on this subject.
My wife and I are UM alumni. Of course we loved our time in Ann Arbor, but like most experiences for an 18-22 year old, you never really fully appreciate it. Well now, our son is a freshman there and we have gained a whole new love and appreciation for the school and the campus. I've been up to Ann Arbor more times in the last couple months than I had the previous 10 years. I just love being on campus and feeling the vibe. The place is special and I'm so grateful to get to experience it all over again through my son.
