Cam Dillard

I was just wondering why neither Michigan or MSU offered him. I can see maybe we were into enough talent that the coaches passed. But MSU is need of Lineman and can't figure out why neither offered him. Anybody have any insight?

I never really understood why MSU never offered, but we have 6 OL in our class that are better than him IMO

Like Ducks said, I don't understand why MSU never offered.
I think he was a Plan C kind of player for us, but we filled up with all our Plan A guys, so there was just never a spot for him.

That's what I figured on our end. Was having a conversation with my spartan buddy and he was confused why they didn't offer. For some reason I thought they had. Upon realizing they hadn't I was very curious why not.

From what I remember he was always a Florida fan. He was a good buddy with Dawson and he was pushing Dawson to visit Florida.

From what I understand, Dillard camped at Michigan State back in 2011 but didn't perform all that well.

Yeah i've heard mixed reviews about Dillard. Doesn't look great on film IMO. There were obviously other guys that Michigan had on their board infront of him that they landed so no need to offer.

Red flags when no top schools in your primary recruiting area offer you, IMO. Like plucking a kid from Florida that didn't have offers from UF, FSu, Miami, Bama, Auburn, etc.

WOTS is that MSU coaches weren't really sold on him being able to develop into a D1 BCS player (physically). Also notable is the lack of offers from other midwest teams that are good evaluators of OL talent (Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa).
