150,000? Typo or is that what he said. I know we heard recruits talk about playing in front of 120,000 last year, but I can see that happening. 150k, not so much.

He probably heard 115K and mixed it up later.

You are right about the numbers. Dave Brandon had mentioned 6 to 8 months ago a possible expansion to the upper south end bowl. When the end is filled out with seats, the Big House will seat 122k plus not to mention the 5k overflow.
From what I am speculating when both upper end bowls are completed then the seating could reach 134K not to add in the over flow which could reach a total of 138K for a game.
What I am saying is that would be incredible, a great recruiting tool and could place the Big house as one very intimidating place to play!
Every kid worth anything would LOVE that atmosphere. Wouldn't you!

I wouldn't read too much into it. Remember these are highschool kids who are having Big Time coaches sitting at their kitchen tables and in their living rooms.

Meh. Am guessing he said "115,000" which can easily be mistaken for "150,000."

This seems like the likely explanation. Easy to hear 115 and think 150.
