This thread started out great and has taken a horrible turn, I'm an OSU troll so take it for what it's worth, the only thing I would say is it is more important for Michigan to recruit Ohio then it is for OSU to recruit Michigan, the high school football is better and deeper in Ohio, I would also say this story about OSU offering this kid is wrong, the reached out to make contact to start to form that relationship, this staff is hyper aggressive when it comes to recruiting, I think Meyer showed that with the way he closed last year, and it looks like we are set up for another strong close.

If you think the main reason a kid goes to a college is dependant on who offered them sooner, then there is no helping you. But if that's what helps you sleep at night, then more power to you. There are so many ohio boys in the class because they want to escape that state, and get a supreme education while attending a classy school & historically rich football tradition.

I don't open anything by Kurelic, or Helwagen, reading any of their drivel is out of the question. They are terribly biased and will do just about anything to down play any pros Michigan news.

I just read the Semper Fidelis article from Shurbutt, he quickly down played Ross Douglas because in all honesty it was Devin Butler? I didn't see anything remotely close to that contradictory in any of the other All-star game threads as it relates to stand out players.

you should have thought this through before hitting the send button. I'll give you Kyle Kalis. Pee Wee? Who is that? Dawson, he was never a Buckeye. Wormley was a michigan fan. So he wasn't going to be a Buckeye either. As for Dymonte and Strobel...If they both would have waited to commit then they would have both been Buckeyes. And when you say "+ more" I assume you are speaking of Mike McCrary? He is another guy who commited to michigan early because OSU dissed him by offering teammates and not him, even though his daddy was a Buckeye. This is why you make as early contact as possible. If michigan waited to offer these guys then they wouldn't be wolverines. They felt disrespected for not getting the love they felt they deserved. Perhaps they were. I bet Strobel wishes he was a Buckeye now. And Dymonte will be wishing if he's not already. He probably beats himself up over this on a daily basis.

This is quite the change in tune from your swan song a year ago where you praised Kurelic and Helwagon for the quality of content they provide. Effects of an 8-5 campaign or did something else change? Or just can't keep your story straight depending on your audience?

Haha, cmon. Krenzel sucked. That year was due to Defense and a fabulous freshman RB. And a player who shouldve gotten alot more recognition than he did in Chris Gamble

not likely on either front, Kiffin not getting fired this year nor would Meyer consider a move to USC. Meyer grew up in Ohio, coached at OSU, considers Earle Bruce a mentor and OSU his dream job, why would he leave to move west?
