I'm still not sold that it is Biff Poggi. Guy has like 10 tweets, his son Sam follows him, some other Poggi named James that may be his other son (who is into guitar FWIW), Gilman football, then a bunch of Michigan and random college football people like Mark Snyder, Victor Abiramiri and Bryan Mac that started following him after he made the recruiting comments.

If it is really Biff Poggi, he clearly doesn't have any twitter experience with the ramifications of tweeting one sentence worth of words about recruiting. I mean, the guy tweeted half a thought, then replied to himself without any text. Not exactly a twitter expert.

I don't know if there's much more of a clarification necessary: old guy tried to use twitter, people freaked out over nothing.

I forgot the actual tweets Biff sent out. The jist of his tweets were about if the B1G remaining insignificant if they do not start recruiting better. I've never commented on it before but I agree with what he said. The SEC typically has every school in the top 25 in recruiting rankings. The B1G, outside of us and ohio generally are ranked very poor. It is not to hard to see the different talent levels of the two conferences. If the other teams in the B1G do not start stepping it up I really can not see that perception / reality changing. In the end his son went to the best school for him but nothing he said was inaccurate.
