This is what I don't understand about Ohio State recruiting during Urban Meyer's tenure. Kyle Berger seems like the ideal LB - brains, size, speed, character....etc. Yet he's not a priority to Ohio, wtf? I saw on Espn that Ohio probably wants 4 LB this cycle and has 5 LB targets ahead of Berger (Raekwon McMillan, Clifton Garrett, Dillon Bates, Kain Daub, and Dante Booker). Its almost like character and smarts don't really matter to Meyer. I'm sure thats not true, maybe he just doesn't emphasize those qualities the way Michigan does.
And he did it last year too letting Michigan steal Ben Gedeon and Mike McCray right out of his own backyard. Tressel never would've let these kids go.
