No worries, if he commits to Michigan it's only because the offer Urban gave him almost half a year ago became uncommittable at the last minute, they're focused on Garrett, Booker, MacMillan, etc.
The Mensa round table at Bucknuts is covered.

LOL... I have read Ohio fans stating that it would be a loss, sure... BUT Urbs will land a bigger and better national kid to replace him....

The work this staff has done on their top positional targets has been spectacular.
Ferns, Berger, Hand, Mone are all out-of-state kids that the staff evaluated and identified as top at their respective positions.
That it is very possible that all four could end up blue prior to establishing national prominence again bodes extraordinarily well for Michigan's front seven going forward.
Even with Speight, who I was down on originally, they have established what they are looking for, leadership, accuracy and size, and gotten a kid that seems to have all three by the bushel.

The Michigan coaches are knocking it out right now. The Hand visit alone right now shows they know how to get it done. I am pleasantly surprised how well the Hand visit is going. With Speight, I questioned this at first. But, I have changed my tune. I think after a camp circuit, Speight shoot up the rankings. The coaches will shine on this one. They saw something before everyone else saw it.

THIS. At first I was not happy with the Speight over Cornwell decision. Most Blue fans felt the same. I really have changed my thoughts on this too as he seems to be a great leader and personality (although so was Cornwell) but I also have seen some very good reviews on Speight and i think the only reason he is so low on the rankings was that year he had to take off for his collarbone. I believe before NSD 2014 he shoots up into the top 15 QBs forsure!
