Back on Tremendous, I wrote a post illustrating Alex as one of the top ten overall targets in the '14 class for Michigan. A commenter left this note, and I assume they must be close to his family:
Alex's maternal grandfather, Doug Eggleston, and his great uncle, Don Kolcheff, both played football at Michigan. Alex is very tight with his uncle Don, who he grew up across the street from before moving to Tennessee. Kolcheff's daughter is married to former Michigan center Marc Milia, so the Michigan lineage is deep! His older brother, Bradley, is at Penn State, primarily because he was not recruited by RR. I see Alex as a strong Michigan lean!
