hmm, didn't get the feeling of "confidence" from what verbage i've seen. Still alot of concerns.....Hope he goes blue ='ing a sparty fan meltdown.

A bit of a combination. The fact that msu was the runner up last year and I'm hearing that Michigan's staff is still deciding if they're interested or not. I'm not putting it in stone and couldn't be happier with UofM's haul this year.

I wouldn't base much on last year. Arnett hated RR's offense (and maybe RR himself; he called him Dick Rod in one of his youtube vids). After his experience with UT, I'm guessing he is starting with a clean slate and will pick whichever program/staff/teammates he likes the best and thinks will give him the best chance to get to the next level. This is his one Mulligan and he knows he needs to make it count. As for whether Hoke & Co. want him, IDK. I can't imagine why they wouldn't, unless they expect to get Garnett, Reeves, Wright and Grant, in which case we might not have room. But that would be a very good problem to have.

Have our coaches even reached out to Arnett?

As the poster said, it's not concrete but hope his "source" is right about the matter. Either way I'm glad Arnett will have the freedom to go where he wants to go.

It's all speculation every site seems to be saying something different. I'll be glad when this is over.

In situations like these, who knows. So many things going on behind the scenes it is impossible for fans to really know what's going on.

When Hoke was hired and started recruiting there was a lot of buzz that he was reaching out to local kids (Zettel, Arnett, Fisher) that had opted to go out of state, but none of them were interested in listening. Maybe that would have an impact if the coaches want him now?

Tennessee is a good school, but they are SEC football too, so what types of classes did Arnett take his first semester? His own statement a week back said he got two B's and a C, so if those were SEC-football-player classes, would they transfer to Michigan or would he have issues where he came in with not enough credits to be eligible to play? Don't know how those things work.

Lots of stuff going on here, so wouldn't be shocked to see him at either place.

Disagree somewhat. He likely had his high school coach talk to MSU and Michigan to see if there was any interest.

It would be odd if he left, pubicly complained about the release prohibiting MSU and Michigan, only to find out neither of them were interested in taking him. If he really doesn't want to play for a MAC school and wants to be close to home, he must've had some indicator that one of the two bigs school would be an option.
