  • Hope his shoulder is good to go because I would not mind seeing him compete for playing time this fall.

  • Thanks for the interview.

Really excited about Darboh and Chesson coming in. I am really interested in seeing if one of them can break out this year.

  • I think Darboh is going to be a solid reciever at Michigan I like his size and speed. He has one of the best storys I've heard for a recruit as well.

  • Major credit to the Michigan coaching staff on landing Darboh. The Iowa coaches really pulled out all the stops, but the Wolverines still ended up winning out. I think a big key in whether or not he redshirts will be how comfortable he is with his shoulder right off the bat. A lot of times, an injury can be completely healed, but it takes a little longer to become 100% confident in it mentally. If he can get to that point where he isn't even thinking about it by the time camp rolls around, then he'll have a good chance to make an impact right off the bat.

How serious was the injury? I don't remember hearing about it until this article.

He separated his shoulder around the fourth game of the year, and was out until the playoffs. He came back and played, but they lost (I believe) in the second round. He then played basketball for the first 8-10 games of the season before having surgery near the end of December.

Sucks that surgery was involved, but glad he took care of it.

Yep, and he's had plenty of time to rehab, so the timing was pretty good.
