    Top group or top team?

U-M and OSU tied at the top.

  • Saw that too, but I don't have a scout subscription. We are still listed as his leader on his Scout profile but I don't know how often that gets updated.

If we're still tied with Ohio after he took "his best visit ever" there, I wouldn't be too concerned. Kids tend to favor the school they most recently saw which is Ohio and they still didn't pass us. Get him up for UTL or the Ohio game (or both) and you've gotta think things will swing back in Michigan's favor. Either way, there's a VERY long way to go here.

  • You guys will put way too much undue stress on yourselves if you're worrying about a 2015 player at this juncture. Long, long, long ways to go.

  • 2015 ATH Shaun Crawford scored a 90.03 SPARQ rating today in Massillon. Also ran a legit 4.51. Kid is fast.

  • Have to love how he closes on ball carriers and WR's working underneath for a 5'9" kid. Arrives with a chip on his shoulder for a smaller guy. I love it, not enough skill guys with that type of mentality out there.

Welcome to the board! Given that this is your first post, I'm just assuming you're a Michigan fan, so welcome!

Thank you. Your assumption is spot on, Michigan fan all the way, and looking forward to the spring game! It has been too many days with out football all ready. As much as I love recruiting I can't wait to see some pads popping again soon.

all I can say is WOW! this kid is legit and needs an offer. He can play both sides of the ball. Man I love how he is looking to lay the wood on every play.

Steve do you think we have a pretty good chance if we offer?

Also steve, can anyone get an account on Hudl?

    thanks!

Best way to get around needing an account to use Hudl's services is to just google a kids name and include "hudl" at the end. This always works for me and I've never had to use an account this way.

Then again I probably shouldn't be exposing this secret because "Hudl" will probably find a way to shut this down. Probably not even a secret, and while I think I'm being quite smart, I'm probably the real dumb ass. Try that out though, it works quite well for me.

I tried that, but for me the videos are still that weird kind of skewed image for the vast majority of the plays.

Is there a step I'm missing?

EDIT: Never mind, most of the video is clear. After the beginning, only a few plays are skewed.

I expect Florida to have a tough season this year.

As of right now, I'm predicting losses at Louisiana State, to Georgia, and at South Carolina.

I can also see losses at Miami, at Mizzou, and to Florida State.

In short, I expect Florida to finish 8-4 or worse.

There's going to be huge problems if they lose to Miami and/or Missouri, because those teams suck.

    Yes.

The Miami/Florida game should be a good indicator of both teams.

Miami's offense should be good in 2013. The problem is Miami's defense which has regressed to Rich Rod Michigan levels. (That's not an exaggeration. Look at the stats.) And the troubles start up front. Miami's DLine is not good (to put it nicely).

Also, Florida defeated Mizzou 14-7 in the Swamp. IIRC, Florida intercepted a would-be game-tying TD in the endzone in the final minute to secure the victory. Surprisingly, Mizzou matched up well against Florida in last season's meeting. I'm hoping that Mizzou plays well enough to get the victory in Columbia this season.

Their recruiting is approaching Rich Rod levels too. Their #1 need in the 2013 class was a DT, and they signed.....zero. blank

Hence, 2013 is shaping up to be a make or break season for Al Golden and his staff.

But Miami recently received a big commitment from hometown star QB Alin Edouard. He's currently unranked on 247Sports but he's an impressive dual-threat. Watched his attached highlights.

And a strong season (10+ wins) should help Miami get commitments from heralded prospects like OL KC McDermott (who has a brother on the team), RB Sony Michel (who grew up a Miami fan), DT Khariri Clark, etc.

  • Interesting that someone downvoted both of my posts about Florida.

Is there a Michigan fan here who doubles as a Florida fan?

Worth noting that Crawford will be visiting for the Indiana game on March 10th and believes he an offer is possible.

Man I hope he gets an offer!
