    I want Malzone, I think that kid is going to be big time!! This is just my opinion, but I think he is more advanced at this same stage than Shane Morris was at this stage.

  • Jayru Campbell is going to an all-american wherever he goes. I think if Michigan picks up 2/3 of the following, they make a killing in 2015 recruiting- QB Jayru Campbell, DE Josh Alabi, RB Mike Weber.

    Of course, they could get a slam dunk and get all 3 as we saw with Michigan getting 3 CT players this year. I think Damon Webb is a must-flip guy. We CAN NOT let a rival take a star at OUR pipeline.

    He needs it, he's definitely more of an athlete than a QB.

    Surprisingly he is a total pocket passer that has the ability to stretch the play when it's needed. Wouldn't count on him running the option or anything like that.

  • I think there will be a few out-of-state options that are pursued before Michigan goes after the in-state quarterbacks in the 2015 class.

    I think if that is the case then Michigan will miss out on Campbell. From my observation of his twitter I think he will take offense to Michigan not offering.

    It's not clear what exactly Michigan would be missing out on if they miss on Campbell. He is very, very raw as a prospect and there are several prospects who are more advanced than him right now. If Campbell improves to the point that he is comparable to other national prospects, he'll undoubtedly be recruited by Michigan. But I don't think Michigan needs to, or should, recruit him just because he goes to Cass Tech.

    You make a valid point and I think that is what's going to happen. You just never like to see a kid from your state let alone your so called pipeline go anywhere else. Michigan will probably go after a more polished QB just like they did in the 2014 class.

  • It's also a shame that O'Connor re-classified. If he was still a '15 kid, he'd probably be one of the top priorities.

  • Webb is going to be a high 4-star kid.. he shut Treadwell down at a camp last year. Webb is only going to continue getting better because he has not played DB very long.

    .....as far as FLIPPING, I don't know if the HOKEster is going to be able to do that. Urban is trying to crack the CassTech pipeline. panic

    ive always been an osu fan but i think hoke will flip webb sooner or later. michigan is primed for another great season and could be big ten champs, i think they will out recruit us this year. urbs whiffed on all out of state linemen and hoke proved he could recruit skill guys and linemen and the state of ohio. just trying to be real! go osu

    I'm not one to tell the future or claim to be a psychic, so I don't know what will happen 11 months from now but from my understanding.... Webb and his father stated that Michigan was never his leader and did not have a desire to attend UM.

    ...and I don't agree with Hoke out recruiting Urban in 2014, because Hoke seem more intrigued by recruiting the state of Ohio, than getting the best players Nationally.

    I do feel that OSU and UM will continue to lead the B1G though, but Urban is on fire with our program
