    Michigan and MSU have other schools to worry about.

    Because it is perfectly logically to think because a kid wore MSU stuff one day at practice that he will eventually to commit to them. (Ignoring he has also worn Michigan stuff during practices/camps).

    Hmm... I wore a Florida hat the other day, must mean that I'm a Florida lock...

    Agreed. Honestly, Michigan and MSU should be concerned about other schools that are after him right now. He just recently said OSU was a fav growing up. Urbs will make a big push for him, and will probably offer the world.

    To NSD? McDowell should be a Wolverine sometime next February/March.

    Wow. I have quiet confidence, but do not believe this will be easy. ND has/is making a push, and I am sure OSU will as well.

    It is early, but this staff has impressed on the recruiting trail. I am not giving any promises, but I wouldn't doubt it one bit. These guys can sell this program.

    Kid grew up a Michigan fan, was wearing Michigan swag to public events in the spring and summer. Wearing the swag of the program he is visiting is par for the course. Hoke and company are staying on him and I don't believe they will let him go anywhere.

    Needless to say they've impressed everyone...including dantonio, who had to alter his let's wait theory.
    But let's just see what he says NEXT summer. After he has seen some schools. This kid is quiet. It's hard to get a good read.
    With our coaches we have a chance at anyone, but I just want to see what transpires before proclamations are pronounced.

    Plus one for enthusiasm.

    I agree, but I don't see anything that says otherwise at this point. As it stands right now, since Hoke has been hired 28 kids have committed to either Michigan or MSU with offers from the opposite school. Michigan has 24 of those kids, MSU 4. I like those odds.

    The only monkey wrench to me is if Izzo enters the picture and sells playing PF for the basketball team.

    Look this is your board and I will absolutely not get drawn into an arguement here because it's getting close to the season, camp is on, tensions are running high. However, to suggest a player is "bluffing" or planting information on interviews to mislead a fanbase only to commit to their rival sounds a bit like the craziness coming out of Bucknuts on the Dymonte thing doesn't it? Let's all take a breather. It's been said a bunch, it's early and the pursuit is going to be hot and heavy. We've got all winter to argue over 14' kids. Anyway, good day gents, good luck out there!
