Oh I know you weren't no worries. I actually just listened to the interview ward did on rivals. He basically said he is still committed. The coaches told him they want him to decide by spring wether or not he is solid or is gonna look around. He said even if he looks around the coaches are ok with it cause they have been in constant contact. He said if he looks around Michigan would still be number 1 and his leader he just wants to make sure he made the right choice. He also said he talks to LTT and Shane almost every day. This to me shows the coaches policy. If you decide to look around as long as you are upfront with the coaches it is fine and they will still recruit you.

Denzel Ward visited Florida and picked up an offer from them today. He is in contact with the coaches as mentioned, so his scholly wont be pulled. He will probably be a decommit for a brief period while taking some visits.

This might be the case only because it's so early in the 2014 recruiting cycle and we're not pressed for numbers.

If this is the case, then I'm confused. I thought the idea was that if the recruit was looking around taking visits, then they'd not be considered committed. They may still be recruited, but not considered committed.

That would make more sense to me if that was for pulling the offer. I thought the idea behind the policy on visits in general was that if a recruit was taking recruiting visits to other schools, that shows that they are still open to the idea of signing with other schools and therefore we shouldn't reserve a spot for them. That makes perfect sense to me. Has there been a change to that policy or this yet another misunderstanding of the policy?

Denzel Ward was recruiting Orlando Brown Jr. on twitter today and it appeared to have a bit of an impact...Brown spent a good bit of the day retweeting pro-Michigan stuff. Brown's a monster, would love to snag him.

I'm always skeptical of tapes that are obviously sped up. Give me Ways but Kief is cool too.

No you're right. Ward won't be considered a commit at this point by the coaches.
They will continue to pursue him IMO. But they will look at other options as well.
