Long way to go, but I can't help but think that when it comes to skill players, Meyer has the advantage track record developing them for the draft and the rings that they want to see. When it comes to lineman obviously it shifts the other way.

His visit to Michigan went horrible, and he came away thinking Michigan wasn't interested. It went so bad that a guy Harris thinks is a coach confused him for Jamarco Jones is cousin.
As long as the OSU visit wasn't an unmitigated disaster, I would expect OSU to be well ahead of Michigan.

I disagree. Urbie's greatest claim to fame skill players are Tim Tebow, Alex Smith and Percy Harvin. Tebow is struggling to get any PT at QB in the NFL. Smith struggled similarly for his first 6-7 seasons in the NFL until Harbaugh arrived and started developing him into a real QB. Harvin is a success, but he's more a niche/utility player albeit a very good one. He's not a prototypical NFL WR or RB. My guess is Urbie has a much longer list of successful former defensive players in the NFL from his six years at UF. He's never had a 1,000 yard RB and his UF teams were notoriously weak at WR (other than slot guys like Harvin).
Even if you look at Urbie's first year at OSU, the stats are dominated by Braxton Miller. Carlos Hyde had a better year than many people expected, but he and the WRs still spent much more time blocking for BM than they did piling up fancy stats of their own. If I were a WR, in particular, I would be very skeptical about going to play for Urbie at OSU. It was the same at UM under RR. In fact, just look at the difference in Roundtree's production with Gardner in the game versus Denard in the game. WR's will never excel in Urbie's system and RBs will always be the second option for moving the ball on the ground after the QB.
OSU 2012
Leading Rusher: Miller (227 car, 1,271 yds, 13 TD) 2nd Rusher: Hyde (185 car, 970 yds, 16 TD)
Leading WR: Smith (30 rec, 618 yds, 6 TD) 2nd WR: Brown (48 rec, 526 yds, 2 TD)
