I'll drop this in here because i don't want to start another thread but it looks like we are in a recruiting battle with Ohio State for 2014 basketball recruit Jae'Sean Tate. Tate helped Caris Levert lead Pickerington to a State title in Ohio last year. He is ranked as the 46th best player for 2014 by ESPN.

I agree, I would really like a basketball thread. We're about to be a real legit squad, so I don't think it will die out so quickly once the season gets going. Also, if you prefer football content, why not just avoid the basketball thread?

Well his dad played his first two years at OSU then had some sort of problem with his heart and the OSU doctors wouldn't clear him to play so he transferred to UC to finish his career. Michigan is definitely a factor in Tate's recruitment although Brian Snow from scout think's OSU is the heavy favorite.
