it has nothing to do with him standing up to anyone. its that arrogance that is ever present. His is a super sore loser and he was in a verbal altercation with a student football player....cmon man, grow up. he is like a child that didnt get his own way all the time.

great coach, and he deserves respect , but i just can not give him anything because of his arrogance and ego.

you guys beat us last year, and i have shut up because i cant say a word when we lose. but i cannot listen to how state was so amazing when we couldnt recruit a single kid in this state or beat toledo under rich rod.

agreed, him shouting over coach Heck at the recruiting thing they did for hs coaches was not him "standing up to" coach Heck, It was him actin like a d-bag because he's mad about Michigan gettin the guys he wants.

Was Dantonio "standing up for MSU" when he said "get the hell out of here" to the guy who greeted him when he got off the bus in Ann Arbor in 2010? No. He was being a POS.

I also don't buy the "MSU's beaten us four years straight, so we can't say anything" nonsense. Dantonio being a scumbag has nothing to do with anything on the field. Don't give a damn if MSU beats UM for the next 10 years or if UM beats MSU for the next 10, Dantonio's an ass either way.

Sounds like the staff will prob take 4 OL in the 14 class... I would imagine the DL numbers will be the same... Have to love their approach that every year counts with quality and quantity... I would not mind seeing both line littered with "RS ...." next to their class

I think this is exactly the reason Garrett doesn't have an offer yet. You can't deny he's talented, but Hoke's pattern so far has been to fill the class with guys with no character questions. Nobody wants to repeat Florida's mistakes.

He does have academic issues though, not sure about the character issues.

Who knows why he doesn't have an offer yet? There are, what 3-4 LB offers out to the 2014 class? And one already committed. Whatever they're looking for, they're being extremely selective.
