With Georgia getting Crowell and Keith Marshall in the last couple classes they may have figured out the pitch to land top RBs? And with Crowell gone, Marshall is going to play this year which means if they got Scarborough they could easily sell him on the fact it might be Marshall's last year before an NFL jump, if he plays up to his potential. Bama has TJ Yeldon who might be able to redshirt because of Lacy and Dee Hart, plus Tenpenny committed for 2013 and maybe even another top RB like Derrick Henry. So depth is definitely more attractive to Georgia.

^ To add to that, wasn't Saban recruiting Scarbrough as a LB? (I recall that a few mentioned this on tBB.) Supposedly, Saban would give Scarbrough a chance to compete at RB but would move him to LB if it didn't work out.
At Georgia, he has a better chance at playing his preferred position.
Btw guys, his name is spelled Scarbrough and *not* Scarborough.

It feels dirty, but I was thinking the same thing. He may say they are still in his top-3, but it must be a ND-Michigan battle now. No way he will pass up Michigan and Notre Dame to miss out on bowl games for 3 of his 5 years on campus, and then likely have a team so far down the ladder that the 2 bowls they can go to are low-tier Pizza-Pizza type games.
