Star where do you get your info on OSU from? Just curious if it's Bucknuts or another source.

lol at Bucknuts!! I was fortunate to befriend a guy that now works for 11Warriors blog. He handles recruiting and interviews, much like Tremendous. Tremendous recently released an article on Midwest top 14 targets that he credited my source with helping him put it together. Also have a great source on all things USC..

A number of Michigan targets attend Core 6 and play for its 7 on 7 AAU program.

lol I asked cause it's really hard to know what to believe when it comes from Bucknuts.

be willing to bet UM has gotten more from Core6 than OSU, granted i had no clue of their existance until this year though

I bet your right, but seem to be very pro OSU with Urban now coaching a certain school. Will be interesting to watch.

I think we have offered. USC is getting a good one.

  • 2014 for us is looking good at CB's/DB's, LB's, DL, OL and QB....question marks at WR, RB and TE

    Awink2

  • As I've said on the previous page, I don't see RB being an area of concern for Michigan in 2014.

If our coaches decide to pursue Jamitreus Crockham as RB (instead of as a LB) and the coaches offer Lorenzo Collins, we could be set at that position.

The great thing about Crockham is that he doubles as an excellent WR.

    ----

I also don't see WR being an area of concern. If nothing else, Webb can play slot WR. (That's where he was initially expected to play but he's now being projected as CB.)

And we should be leading for Corey Holmes.

    Just my 2 cents.

Yea......WR is less of a question mark, and Tremendous has been interviewing a bunch of '14 RBs, and it looks like we will get two solid RB's, whether they are 4*s, high 3 *'s or a combination, but there are about 8-10 that could fit the program well.......The MAJOR questions mark is at TE.....2014 class is gonna be sick, I hope we can take atleast 20 kids.

  • We haven't gotten as many highly touted recruits at WR than other aspects of the field. We are filled with highly touted recruits everywhere else.

Treadwell will hopefully break that log jam for us, and start blazing the trail for '14 recruits.

Wouldn't we all.. Don't see him anywhere but OSU unfortunately. What's up with Core6 and OSU? Anyone know the former B10 players that work for them? Seems to favor OSU a little..

I think your thinking about Booker and OSU. I think we have a very good shot at Garrett he has already been on campus a couple times and looking to return for the BBQ.

He did declare OSU as his leader a little while ago, but it wasn't an overwhelming thing. Not even being a homer, if I had to lay money it'd be on him at OSU, but I don't think it's out of the question to see him end up elsewhere.

  • Just so everyone is on the same page here:

Webb sr. just stated that his son will wait the whole process out and will not be coming to a decision till around this time next year.

Every prospect says that, I mean literally just about every prospect says that they will wait through the process, take their officials, then decide after that.

not as adamantly as they have stated. It doesnt mean they will wait. Its just means they are much less likely to make a decision anytime soon, even if they are blown away somewhere. Especially since his father would like him to attend michigan.

All i am saying is that we should temper our hope for his commitment to end soon.

Webb will not commit any time soon, which does not surprise me. We will have to battle the SEC schools, along with probably USC, Oregon, and other powers that will eventually enter the fray. The only motivation for him to commit will be if one of his top schools is close to running out of spots.

yeah i definitely see that happening as well. If the trend of committing early continues. Michigan , as well as other schools, may begin to fill and he may be forced. And I hope 14 goes quick as well! webb and mcdowell are huge pieces and i will fell better if we get one in the fold. Not that we cant get other talent, I just want to suck it up away from moo u...especially since they nabbed harris.

MSU is not going to get Webb or McDowell. Competition for these two recruits is at a much higher level than them. Both will be entertaining SEC, USC, Oregon, etc. offers. These recruits will be allured to the big time programs, which is not an MSU.

Agreed. You take out the fact Izzo has been recruiting him since he was in the 8th grade for BB, and everything changes.

  • So supposedly Meyer/Ohio has made Kyle Allen (from Arizona) as its top priority at QB.

I thought Caleb Henderson was slated to be the #1 priority?

Could this be another Robert Foster / Laquon Treadwell situation?

Whatever gets them to ignore Deshone Kizer is fine with me. I have no problem stealing a top-100 QB from Ohio. Yet one more home-state kid that'll come back to bite Urban in the ass.

I'm saying it right now, I don't think Harris ever plays a down of football for MSU. Good for him if he can, but I honestly think he'll get to college and just gravitate more and more towards basketball until that's all he's doing.
