  • Our coaches have been showing interest in this RB from Chicago. I really like his film; with his height and low center of gravity, it would be difficult to find him behind a mammoth O-line, and when you do locate him he has the speed to elude. The 2014 class is stacked at RB, and we have a solid shot to land at least 2 great players at the position. A lot of these RB we have interest in are very different in size and style, so it depends on what the coaches want for the class. Do they take 2 dissimilar backs for more versatility, or 2 that are more of the same mold. He stated:

    Wants: "I want to go to a school that has a good business program. I want to run behind a great offensive line and play in a pro-style offense. Campus-wise I just want a friendly atmosphere and I'm also looking to play for a good coaching staff".

    He might need to read the OSU O-line scraps thread to get perspective on running behind a great offensive line if he doesnt know already.

    Whoever offers him first, between OSU and Michigan, will have the upper hand in his recruitment. Hopefully the staff extends a schollie today.

    Seems like there are a good number of talented/highly ranked WRs in the Midwest for 2014. That's a nice change, since the last 2 years seemed underwhelming to me (for WR talent).

    Yea I'd love to land either Josh Malone or Jalen Hurd (or both!) - but I'm guessing they both head to the SEC. It's really tough to pull kids north out of Tennessee unless they have Midwest connections (Bars).

    No idea on Malone but Hurd really likes Bama at this point.

    He said that he grew up loving Michigan, and was gonna go there until he went to AA for a visit, and all of the people called him Tom. He was upset because his name wasn't Tom.
