As would almost any NBA shooting guard/small forward. Their all athletes and the very best IMO play basketball even with David Stern.

Both of us have a ton of receivers. Neither program desperately needed Drake. In my opinion he's a luxury for both of us. It's nice to get an early start like you guys have been doing. We've been notoriously slow out of the blocks.

Your guess is as good as mine. Although I feel like a guy that talented gives it freshman and sophomore year and makes a judgement call then. I don't see him as a one and doner on the court. Who knows.

They are great athletes, don't get me wrong, but football players are the total package when it comes to athleticism. Look at Dymonte Thomas for example, runs a 4.4 40, hits like a freight train, and can change direction in a split second. Basketball players are fast and well conditioned, but none of them come close to the strength that football players possess.

Probably the same speed, it's just because they play on a small court, doesn't make them any faster. I can only think of a few NBA players that would have the speed to play in the NFL, Dwade being one of the few. Lebron is considered one of the fastest players in the NBA and he would have to be a TE because he doesn't have the speed to be a vertical threat.

My opinion is a 6'4" athlete that wants to play basketball are a dime a dozen and put him on a football not as common. Their are so many of these kids that all think they can be NBA players when an easier path is football, but they see the dollar signs and people in their head saying they are great. When really they are just another average 6'4" kid playing basketball.

I think you greatly overestimate yourself.

You ignored the undeniable fact that people have unique abilities. Michael Jordan is the greatest example. As a basketball player, Jordan is the GOAT. As a baseball player, he was below average.

Moreover, you missed my point. Look past the names of the players I used and focus on their measurables. A 6'4" WR with 4.4 speed is a rarity. On the other hand, a 6'4" SG is actually undersized in the NBA. The average height of NBA SGs is nearly 6'6".

Btw, chances are that Drake Harris is closer to 6'3" rather than 6'4". Listed heights tend to be inaccurate or exaggerated.

Lastly, I can't believe you said that Moss isn't fast or quick enough to play basketball. Do you know what Moss's combine results are? For starters, Moss runs an electronically timed 4.24 in the 40 yard dash. That's Olympic-level speed.

What matters in basketball is a person's speed/acceleration/quickness WITH the ball. For instance, Russell Westbrook has insane acceleration with the ball. His ability to get to the basket is unreal. However, that doesn't mean he'd be a great dual-threat QB.

Similarly, John Wall is amazingly fast with the basketball in his hand. However, that doesn't mean he would be a great WR.
