Anyone bashing Coach Brown needs a reality check. He (like all of us) loves the University of Michigan. He promotes the brand and program to the recruits he talks to. I dont see anyone else on this site (other then the staff) having a positive influence on the program that involves direct contact with the recruits. Coach Brown has credibility, and it has nothing to do with any "predictions." I dont see anyone else getting in contact with these kids, creating dialogue for interviews, posting his information free of charge all while portraying Michigan in a positively tangible way. COACH BROWN HAS DONE MORE TO HELP RECRUITING AT MICHIGAN THAN EVERY SINGLE POSTER ON THIS BOARD COMBINED (not including staff). Be great-full for this resource, or be naive.

He definitely should not be doing anything to "sell Michigan" or "help recruiting at Michigan" when he talks to recruits. He has to be unbiased and professional. If he is trying to sell the benefits of attending Michigan to any of these recruits, the program could get in a lot of trouble because he'd be considered a booster.

He doesn't try and 'sell' the program. He just interviews players. But when a recruit gets a lot of attention (media) from a single school, it can help the program.

I remember when Steve was Tremendous and called a couple commitment watches and was wrong. Mone comes to mind. And you had no problem with your old site gets props on this site so why do you have a problem with others doing it?

Prince is a national recruit who has interest from pretty much everyone. I don't think Michigan is near the top of his list at this point.
They offered him quite a while ago, but his timeline doesn't give the specific date. A consensus five-star; he hasn't really given any indication where he's leaning.

With Michigans need at WR I am surprised that Jamil Kamara out VA doesnt have an offer. He wants to make an early decision and is really high on UM.

Drake Harris is visiting, but it's not for him. Tommy Doles is an option. There aren't really any other 2014 options that look close to dropping.

I can't see anyone being a likely commit this weekend. Outside of Doles, I think any commit this weekend would be in the "too soon category".
