Give me D'andre Payne as another CB in this class. I know he's small at 5'9 but he plays much bigger then his height says I think. Has very good speed to from what the highlights show. The way he drives through the player when he tackles might be what I like the most

Why the hell would a basketball game between two teams in his junior year of HS impact his decision on where he is going to be playing football? It's been said often that one football game doesn't usually have a big impact on a kid's decision one way or the other, so why would a game in a different sport have any impact?
Michigan has always done well in the GR/West Michigan area - the only player from that area that I can remember in the past decade or so that chose to go elsewhere that had a Michigan offer was Rojo.

The same reason that when a recruit visits a college campus and attends a basketball or football game they get excited and commit.
It's all about the atmosphere. And we gave MSU a great opportunity to showcase a raucous crowd while slapping a beatdown on Michigan.
He's still technically committed to MSU, and being there last night definitely could have had an impact on his thought process.

He named us to a top 7 today, but FSU leads. Would definitely be a great pull though, would just be more M dominance in that VA/DC/MD region. The fact that he is shorter than what the coaches have typically looked for at CB says a lot about his skills too imo, a lot like JD Lewis from last class.

Also not that I put too much stock in it... but last night certainly couldn't have been good for our recruitment of Drake Harris.
We let the game get out of hand, and gave their crowd a chance to go crazy. Like I said... don't know how much it hurts if it does at all, but it certainly couldn't help.

I like it. Here's what I got.
QB: Wilton Speights RB: Shai Mackenzie/Joe Mixon WR: Corey Holmes WR: Mo Ways WR: Atravis Scott TE: Daniel Helm OL: Alex Bars OL: Tommy Doles OL: Mason Cole OL: Sam Mustipher/Nate Devers DL: Da'Shawn Hand (Not going to happen as is, but scheduled for 3 visits) DL: Bryan Mone DL: Malik McDowell LB: Michael Ferns LB: Kyle Berger CB: Parrker Westphal CB: Troy Vincent S: Montae Nicholson ATH: Garrett Dickerson
The best part about these is looking back and seeing how wrong you were and where each recruit ended up.
