According to 247Sports, Michigan has offered Jeb Blazevich - a TE from North Carolina.

    The following is from Tremendous.

Type of tight end: "I definitely see myself as more of a receiving threat. I think I have the ability to create mismatches on the outside and do my work in the red zone. I'll definitely put my hands down and hit somebody across the line. I just see my overall strength as being more of a receiving threat". Jeb said that he's gained almost forty pounds compared to what you see on his film.

It's not just those 3. There's also Davonte James.

So as of right now, there's 3 LBs from Ohio + Garrtt from Illinois ranked in 247's top 100 for 2014:

    Dante Booker - #19 Clifton Garrett - #41 Davonte James - #73 Michael Ferns - #94

As far as I know, Ohio is showing interest in all 4. Ultimately, one or more of those kids won't be going to Ohio unless Meyer chooses to take all 4 despite limited scholarships.

Edited to make correction. Thanks TAMU.

We're also in very good shape very Raekwon McMillan.

Describe "good shape" as used in your post.

It's a vague terms that has no context for me in this instance.

Btw, thank you for outing yourself on tBB. I prefer that most messageboard fans discard away with the guise of rationality. It's nothing but an unattainable ideal they (pretend to) aspire to.

  • According to a Tremendous interview, Canadian WR Jaylan Grandison is considering transferring to a Michigan HS so that he can adjust to the American HS football game and earn a Michigan offer.

  • Maryland OT Damian Prince is a stud!

Check out his new highlights. His explosion and mobility should be immediately noticeable.

He should be a very hard pull since MSU recruits internationally.

  • Supposedly, our coaches have been recruiting Jamitreus Crockham as a LB which surprised me.

IMO, he's very much a RB/WR hybrid like Bo Scarborough.

I get the impression that if the Michigan coaches like what they see as a RB in his upcoming junior season, then Crockham will receive an offer.

And Crockham admitted that he and his family grew up liking Michigan.

Probably going to be the top OT in the nation, or near it.

Based on the highlights I've seen, I think Prince is better than Robinson because Prince uses better technique.

  • According to Tremendous, Michigan is interested in Tyus Barrett - a OL from Texas that grew up a Michigan fan. Barrett (6'5" / 300 lbs.) is supposedly the younger brother of former LSU WR and current NY Giant draftee Rueben Randle.

Robinson has a ton of raw talent though. Can't really go wrong on either, hopefully we can grab one.

  • I think I found 2014's Devon Smith.....Daniel Gresham

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWQ1WAol9e0

Tremendous did a write up of him and his teammate D. Knox.....Knox was raised in Ohio and grew up liking the nutters, and the nutters feel confident about him. But him and Gresham want to be a package deal, and I doubt Ohio's offense is structured best for either of them. This will be an interesting story to watch next year.

Here are some highlights I just cut up of 2014 RB/FB Daniel Gresham. He said that Michigan coach Darrell Funk came out and saw him earlier t

  • Yup. I saw that earlier. Gresham absolutely impressed me.

We have some really good early options for RB for 2014:

    - Jonathan Hilliman
    - Jamitreus Crockham
    - Daniel Gresham
    - Lorenzo Collins

But AFAIK, only Hilliman has a Michigan offer right now.

Btw, does anyone have a guesstimate on how big our 2014 class might be (minus attrition)?

There are 18 spots as of right now without addressing any attrition or whether any of the 5th years will be gone before then (meaning their spot will go to a 2013 kid).

Is Hillman the Bosco kid? If so there are some definite red flags on character concerns.

We also offered Bo Scarborough, but apparently as a WR (and he's not coming here).

My guess for our class with attrition would be right around 20-22.
