  • This has probably already been mentioned but it looks like LTT will be an EE too.

If true, then it's good news.

In my opinion, of all our linemen commits he's the one that would benefit most from a redshirt.

    David Dawson ‏ @D3_MrUnderated_
@LoganTillman AND BOTH R ENROLLING EARLY! (they were talking about both getting USC offers)

Logan also had a tweet that mentioned graduating early:

    Logan Tuley-Tillman ‏ @LoganTillman
yes sirr it's crazy how fast it came I'll be up there with the guys after a semester thou grad early when so you go up?

Seems like this strongly suggests he'll be an EE. I'm sure a good source will confirm this soon.

It's already been confirmed that Dawson and LTT are EE. Ty Isaac also wants to enroll early

Could just be class conflicts, as they do happen sometimes

I thought it may have been but in my short bit of searching I couldn't find it anywhere. Good news.

  • How many defensive lineman does everyone see us taking this year? The last i have heard is we are expecting to take 8 more commits this year. We seem to have cooled on taking a 3rd TE at this point. Seem to really want another RB and probably 2 more WRs. We seem to be going hard after a lot of top end defensive lineman now. We have Taco committed and thats it so far. Do we take 3 more DL this year?

I think we will be taking 3 more but I believe we have two committed already Taco and McCray. In 3 years when McCray is actually playing at UM he will have bulked up and become a rush end for us. Now I have not heard this anywhere but that is my opinion take it for what its worth

Why move McCray to DE? I mean he has the body for it but his pass coverage skills are probably his best feature and by putting him at DE you are taking that away. I think he would fit in perfect at Jake Ryan's current role with rushing the passer on some plays while dropping into man to man and some zone coverage on most plays.

  • Kugler and Shallman are visiting this weekend per Twitter. Good to hear Kugler is coming, I was a little worried about him since he's all the way in Penn and he's one of the best guards in the country.

I don't think we have to worry about kugler. He's all blue.

  • Out of our 16 commits I feel they all are strongly committed. I don't us losing any of those guys....now anyone else we get is yet to be determined. For some reason...I feel like when someone commits to Hoke and UM....knowing the recruiting process is over if they commit....they all are very strong.

  • Kugler might be my third favorite recruit in this class (because Shane & Dymonte are always going to be the best), he has a great o-lineman name, could probably start his freshman year, and was supposed to be a Michigan State lean.

He committed without meeting coach Hoke in person too. And it was on the day he was suppose to visit State. A lot of things to like about his commitment. lol

Not saying that I want him to move to DE. I believe that it is inevitable that he will grow into that position is all Im saying. It could have its advantages though zone blitzing is one, bring the LB and drop McCray into coverage the Steelers do it all the time very successfully I might add(I know they run a different defense then us but it could still work the same) element of surprise you never know who is coming. But I have been saying this ever since he verbaled this is my opinion and noone elses. I also think that this played a major role in ohio not offering him. With limited scholarships I dont think they could have afforded to bring on another rush end when in the 2012 class they brought in 3.

I feel same way about McCray. He's bigger than most DEs in his class. I doubt he stays at linebacker. But idc what position he plays. Just glad he's committed to the good guys.

  • Just listened to a brief interview with Uriah LeMay that was in an ESPN podcast....sounds like hes focusing on the southeast for college. When asked what schools he plans on visiting in the near term, he said South Carolina, Georgia, UNC and Clemson, so I would assume those are at the top of his list right now. He recently just visited South Carolina this week, and I believe he said was going to Georgia for the weekend, where his brother plays.

  • Looks like they just updated the 247 prospect rankings and it seems like Taco Charlton has moved up. Does anyone remember where he was ranked previously?

I don't understand these big moves, the prospects haven't done anything to warrant changes.

Seriously, I have nooooooooo idea how someone could go from the No. 2 ILB to the No. 11 ILB just like that.
