  • over on scout they have a video of Fred jackson discussing the three running backs in this class.

    One thing I found interesting is he mentioned that LSU and Alabama both offered Wyatt before he committed to Michigan. Thought that was pretty awesome and goes to show that just because player X's profile only has a couple schools that offered doesn't mean that he didn't have a lot more offers (aka DaMario Jones).

    Jackson discusses Hart's recruitment which i thought was pretty cool as well.

    It seems like a lot of the hardcore Michigan guys kept their offers secret. (Morris, Shallman, JD Lewis, Jones). Glad to see these kids are so dedicated that they won't even give the offers credence, despite the fact that reporting those offers would only make the kids look good.

    Honestly, for a lot of our players it makes sense. We're trying to build Bama north - a big, physical, power running team with a suffocating defense. Shallman would've played the H-Back role that Bama got Derrick Henry for (and was recruiting Poggi for), Taco is going to fill out to be a huge beast of a rush end, our OLs speak for themselves, Shane has the gun to take full advantage of the play-action, etc.

    I can only hope that we're close to as successful as Bama has been with this formula.
